This is a small but elite Starship, built for speed and has the most up to date weaponary available. The Starfighter was bulit to do intense recon through the Wormhole and into the Dominion. Built to defend the Federation against the Dominion and the Borg. It has multi-phase cloaking capabilities, and specially designed Quantum torpedoes that will locate any cloaked vessels.

On occasion its crew has to divert its mission and do recons on other ships of the Fleet, aid in rescue missions, and sometimes break the Prime Directive in order to get things done.
