More or less the same thing really...The only thing I can think of is that Cradle are more organized than all my previous bands put together. You go through phases in your playing but to be honest it's within a really restricted style. I've got more freedom to do what I want musically now. Even though we seem to be from completely different backgrounds, we're from the same school of metal. How long can you survive playing in COF? As long as there is metal to be had, I will have it. Whe ther eis no more metal well then what's the point of survival? On the 8th day God created...My urge for female flesh. (from metalhammer) In His Own Words: Adrian's Biography Born in Sweeden I started playing drums in 1981, pretty soon after i could hold my first beat down me and a friend that played guitar tried to form a band. We tried to be a heavy metal band but it sounded really lame with todays standards, hahhah. The first song we learnt was "I love rock n roll" by Joan Jett. However as we progressed as musicians we got a couple of other guys in and pretty soon after that we were doing covers of bands like Def leppard, Dokken, Twisted sister, Thin lizzy, GBH, The exploited etc. This band went in and out of excistence from 1982-1988, during that time we had a couple of different names... the most outstanding beeing Berits Polisonger (swedish for Berit's sideburns, Berit beeing a girlsname). In '88 i got in contact with some guys into thrash that looked for a drummer for their band, Penance....i joined and we wrote some classic songs.. Edge of damnation, Visions of insanity etc...However before we got to record our first demo... the band decided to quit... At that time i had already started jammin with a few guys in Gothenburg, that band later took the name At the gates. We got signed straight away after our first demo "Gardens of greif" (which got released by Dolores rec as a ep)in '91. We got signed by Deaf/Peaceville and did 3 albums for them namely "The red in the sky is ours" '92, "With fear i kiss the burning darkness" '93,"Terminal spirit disease" '94. Then we got signed by earache records and did one album for them called "Slaughter of the soul" '95. After slaughter of the soul we toured extensively for about 7 months. Since we hadn't done that much touring before there was a crack developing in the band.... and when we got back from the last tour in the states we decided to quit in july '96. I formed The Haunted together with Jensen (seance,witchery) the next day....we released one album for earache records in aug '98. I got approached by Cradle at the dynamo gig '99 where we played with The Haunted, 2 weeks into June i was as filthy as i could possibly be.... bloody hell i really need a bath ! Instrument Premier signia drums. Toms 10",12",13",14" Floor tom 16" kicks 2 * 24/18" brass piccolo snare. SABIAN CYMBALS Sabian cymbals, the series vary alot... though generally i have 2 sets of hihats one on either side of the kit. 3 crashes, 2 splashes and 2 chinas plus one zilbel. Axis pedal with built in triggers. Alesis Dm-pro drumtrigger. Remo pinstripe heads and vicfirth sticks. All of my equipment have been carefully selected to endure hard hitting and touring, as well as performing, sounding the way i want/need it to. Favorites Profile (likes & dis-likes) Likes any kind of beef, the way i see it: the meal is over when the meat is gone! My favourite meal is Koldolmar, Potato och brown gravy. Favourite drink is either Jack daniels or Grolsch beer, if alcoholic. Non-alcoholic favourites are coffee and coke. My favourite movie is without a doubt Junior with Arnie Scwarzennegger. My favourite of everything in this world though is my wife Amber and my snake Lucifer Plisken. Dislikes things growing inwards, like toenails and narrowminded persons.I hate seafood of any kind. Musical Background Oh yes. There is always music in the background it varies alot from old swedish music like Harry Brandelius, Edward Persson, Evert Taube to 80's thrash Death angel, Forbidden, Slayer, Exodus, Testament to more industrial stuff like G.G.F.H, Death in june, In slaughter natives. I enjoy most music apart from chart music and reagge which i fucking hate !!!
