None of these reviews will be revealing of the contents of the DVD, as I do not want to ruin it for anyone. These will be just my personal opinions on what I saw, and for the most part, telling if it's worth the money. (Which it very much is...hehe.) Eleven Burial Masses: The Live Concert at Rock City More Works of Murder: DVD Extra Features Sifting Through Filth: A Schlockumentary The Schlockumentary had me in stiches, I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a band docu. The antics of the band, reminds you how down to earth they really are, makes you see past the common stereotypes that are generally branded on these fine lads. And it also shows that Sarah can be one of the lads as well. It was great fun! So if you've not seen it yet, get your arse on the move and buy this, hopefully you can get the DVD, as I'm not completely sure what is included on the VHS. If any of you have the VHS, let me know what's all on it, as I'm curious. Scorched Earth Erotica: Nasty Version I'd say one of their best videos, as they didn't try to make it a theatrical type video on too low a budget, opting for clips from Cradle of Fear, mixed with shots of the band in a large empty, yet gorgeous white room, that made them stand out beautifully in black. The only hard bit was not seeing Robin...bloody hell I miss him. Scorched Earth Erotica: Very Nasty Version Not yet reviewed. Born In A Burial Gown: Sub Version Not yet reviewed. The Blair Twit Project: Absinthe Fiend Footage Whoo hoo this was great, this is what happens when you let these tits loose drunk, in the dark, in the middle of the woods with a camera. Enough said. Cradle Of Fear: Horror Movie Trailer Not yet reviewed. Circus Of Horrors: Creature Feature This was more like an advert than feature, but none-the-less great to watch, as most of it was shots from their appearence at the Rock City gig in Nottingham. Though it's weird to see events you were at on a DVD that's worldwide. And they left out some really cool bits, but of course you can only fit so much on a DVD. Gallery Of The Grotesque: Downloads & Web Links Hmmmm. Well, at first I wasn't too thrilled with this, as the gallery included the same pics from the extra bits in the BSTS mini-album release. But as you move along you get newer pics, which came from the photo shoot done for Classic Rock Magazine, some were featured in the magazine, others were not. Then on to the secret part of the Official Site, I think Rob (if he made them that is) shouldn't have made those icons, as they are total crap, they have a feel of "I couldn't be bothered to make a decent DT icon". Some of the icons are repeated, and just slightly different, they are all boring and square, with no transparency. The desktop wallpapers are alright, but they seem a bit lazy as well, and some are a bit too busy for me. |
