A Big Mistake
during this darn Hanson Drought
well i don't know......if i can wait

During the last drought, some fans made a pretty big mistake.  The demos of the album came out and of course since we were  all in need for new music, some fands downloaded and listened.  Until they knew the words by heart.  Then when the long awaited album finally did come out, they had already heard some or practically all the songs.  So they probably still went out and bought the album, but they still wanted new music since the music on the album wasn't so new to them anymore.  Even though I didn't do this I know people that did and they totally regretted it!  It's almost like suffering from the drought twice!  Hopefully, this time Hanson and their managment will keep the album, songs, and demos in a little more tighter watch so it doesn't get on to the internet.

And even though, I KNOW that the temptation is there, and I could totally see myself wanting to download the songs-I think you would be happier if you waitied!  It's kinda like waiting to have sex! Just think about when you went out and bought Middle of Nowhere.  You probably didn't know any of the songs except 'Mmmbop' and maybe 'Where's The Love.'  The whole album was brand new to you.

There are definatly a lot of pluses if you wait.  Wouldn't you love to go out and buy the album with the money that you saved especially for it?  Wouldn't you like to go home open the CD and listen to it, for the first time, straight throught while you look at the album pictures and try to follow along with the lyrics?  If you haven't heard the music, it adds to the excitment and anticipation of the album release.

So, I challenge you....try and resist downloading those demos.  You won't be disappointed.
Believe in everything I just said?  Make the promise above.  Kinda weird, I always believed in this and then a whole campaign comes along!
