I guess you could say that there are pro’s and con’s to everything.  Even the Hanson fan’s dreaded Hanson Droughts.  So here are the pro’s and con’s to the Hanson Drought of 2001.  So this might help you look on the brighter side of the drought.

PROS
-this drought won’t be as bad as the drought of 1999 because we will have more music this time
-the longer the guys take, the better the album will be
-there will probably be a ‘fresh new Hanson’ when they come back
-if they take awhile, the media might make a big deal about the album when they come back
-the drought gives Hanson the chance to rest and relax
-taking awhile on the album, so the guys make sure the best songs are on the album
-the anticipation and excitement will build for the fans
-will make the fans keep guessing and want more
-they have mentioned a documentary of making the new album
-it’s exciting to see pictures of guys in the studio since we haven’t seen them in awhile
-it’s fun for the fans to see articles about the new album on sites like RollingStone.com and MTV.com
-the drought is always a test to see who the ‘real fans’ really are
-just like the drought of '99...it won't last forever!

CONS
-there is always the risk of loosing fans if Hanson takes too long
-webmasters, like myself, usually suffer from writer’s block during these droughts
-some of the fans may loose interest
-there is usually no new news to look forward to
-no Hanson appearances on TV
-Hanson fan sites usually have less updates and some even close down
-the fans need new music to listen to
-some of the fans might be getting sick of these droughts by now
-little to now updates on Hansonline.com (and even Hanson.net)

So, maybe there are more pluses than minuses to these droughts after all!  Just keep listening to your Hanson music and just keep thinkin’ of all these pros!  And I’m sure we will all survive this drought--heck!  We’ve done it once before!  :)
