Shoujo Kakumei Utena (or Revolutionary Girl Utena) was one of the most visually amazing stories ever presented in a televised animation. (It was also a less appealing but still beautifully drawn manga and a truly godawful movie, but let's not talk about that right now.) Its troubling themes and complex characters drew me in as no series since Sailor Moon had done. Inevitably, I was drawn to present fanfic based on this series, which I present here for your enjoyment.
All these stories take place in the Together Again continuity described elsewhere on this site, but knowledge of that continuity is not required for most of them.
Suppose that they had a revolution and nobody came? Or at least, no remembered it? And suppose that ten years after it was all over, someone drew the former revolutionaries back together ... for one last turn around the dance floor?
