Well, here is that third band to fill out a tour with Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal. Wait a minute; let me start over. Okay, here goes: Infestation sound like England’s answer to the Florida Death Metal scene. From name to lyrics to song titles to sound, Infestation wear on their influences on their sleeves. The deep, gutteral vocals are there. The rapid, machine gun, double bass pedal action is there. The riffs are there. The imagery is there. And true to Death Metal form, the CD is less than 40 minutes long. All this said, it is a great listen if you are into the Florida Death Metal Style. Certainly, fans of the above mentioned band will be pleased with Infestations efforts here. Also, fans of Hypocrisy will like it. This is the first CD I’ve ever seen on this label, Lunasound. I assume it is a new label. They sure seem to have started off with a bang.
