CFADW EVALUATION PLAN

1. Quizzes/Tests = 50%

 

2. Assignments = 50%

 

  • There may be an assignment and/or quiz/test assigned in each week of the course, including the intersession week.
  • One or more assignments or quizzes/tests may or may not require your attendance in class to complete and/or submit.

 

TESTS

 

  • Quizzes/tests are to be written at the scheduled time and place.
  • Each student will provide their own 2H pencil and a gum eraser for use during quizzes/tests.
  • If anyone is late for a test, they will only be allowed to write the test if no one has left the classroom between the beginning of the test and their arrival. 
  • If anyone who is late is allowed to write the test, they will only have the time remaining for the test to complete it.
  • There will be no makeup quizzes/tests for any reason.
  • There will be no exceptions.

 

ASSIGNMENTS

 

  • Assignments will be posted on the class CFADW course website at: http://ca.oocities.com/crn43003
  • Assignments are to be completed and submitted as and when required.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your work is completed as required before submitting it.
  • Assignments are due as required. Late assignments will not be accepted and will receive a grade of zero. There will be no exceptions.

 

WEB SITE

 

  • Each CFADW student will establish a Yahoo Canada Geocities website and email account in accordance with the instructions you are provided with. 
  • Your CFADW website will be used to display content related to the CFADW course. 
  • Your CFADW course Yahoo Canada email address is to be used to communicate with the CFADW course professor and students. 

 

CHEATING

 

  • Cheating is an extremely serious academic offence.
  • Anyone found to have cheated or assisting someone else to cheat on an assignment or quiz/test will receive a grade of zero.
  • Cheating may also result in a grade of F (FAILURE) for the course regardless of any marks already achieved.
  • Cheating may also result in termination of enrollment at the College.

 

PLAGIARISM

 

  • Plagiarism is an extremely serious academic offence.
  • Assignments submitted containing plagiarized content will receive a grade of zero.
  • Plagiarism may also result in a grade of F (FAILURE) for the course regardless of any marks already achieved.
  • Plagiarism may also result in termination of enrollment at the College.
