The
Nothingness
Of
Nevermore
By Cobaltare
As the black new moon rises.
A hint of gray covers the ground.
Casting out the loneliness there.
A loneliness which has remained.
Remained like some ominous bird.
It was a night like this.
That cast from the gates of Hades.
The Nothingness of Nevermore appeared.
The Crownees defended their castle.
As they did each day and night.
Some called it the wall of nothingness.
Then one day, a dark shadow flew in.
A rather large corvid at that.
And this creature shape shifted.
And this strange creature grew.
It began quoting gothic poetry.
Poetry like no other.
And lyrics of urgency.
Many thought him a lunatic.
A mad mad lunatic until...
The wall of nothingness came.
It loomed like death...
Because it was death...
It had come to claim it's Hellcrow.
>He was the Hellcrow there but...
Others knew him as HALLOWEENCROW.
The wall of nothingness came...
The Crownee castle took battle...
Days and nights came & went..
All soon grew weary...
Then one night as a new black moon arose...
Halloweencrow knew his time was up.
The wall of nothingness was winning.
He began to see his flesh pulled in.
Others looked on in horror...
they too had fought hard...
Yet their command was vanishing.
At this he began to shed tears.
The tears formed a small pool...
As the tears fell...
A strange sound filled the air...
Then. far away a feathery wind came..
And A murder by the millions flew in.
The murder did what it could..
Side by side they fought...
But HALLOWEENCROW was torn away!
Gone, leaving only a pool of blood.
A plaque was placed here by the Crownees.
And it reads of the following:
A warriors essence remains.
His only enemy, time.
The Nothingness of Nevermore...
