Crumlin Primary School considers that the extra-curricular activities which it offers add a valuable dimension to the education of the children. Participation in these activities is entirely voluntary. The above activities run from approximately 3.10 until 3.50 p.m. Transport home must be arranged by the parents of the children involved. |
Miss Cairns and Mrs Mc Kernan teach children keyboard skills. Children are allowed to bring the keyboards home to practice what they have been learning in school. These children also occasionally play the keyboards in school assemblies. |
Children are taught computer skills by Mrs Corbett, Mrs Watson and Mrs Hood. They learn vital word processing skills, how to load disks onto their computers, how to use a digital camera and scanner and they also see inside a hard drive and use the internet. This allows children more individual time at a computer, building their confidence and allowing them to apply their skills in class. |
Mr Dunlop develops children's natural enthusiasm for football. The school
