The Spirit’s Reflection

InuYasha: Feudal Combat
(Used for some of Demon InuYasha’s
dialogue.)
Naraku’s
insidious plot has reached a new low. Kanna and Kagura come after InuYasha,
that is after Naraku kidnaps Kagome, Sango, as well as Shippo. Shippo is no
loss, but Kagome and Sango? InuYasha will not stand for that, as he enters the
castle he sees Kagura finishing off what looked like the remains of Kikyo.
Unable to bear watching her die again InuYasha attacks Kagura with the Wind
Scar, but Kanna sends it back at him. He cuts through the Wind Scar with the
Backlash Wave, but Kanna once again sends it hurtling right back at him. The
Backlash Wave cuts through InuYasha, wounding him to a near death state. The
Tetsaigia was thrown back a ways by the force of the blast. R&R.

Kaede’s Village
“Ha, finally
the mutt is dead!” Kagura shouts proudly. She cheers with Kanna until she sees
this whirlwind approach her.
“KAGURA! WHERE
IS KAGOME?” the wolf asks, tand then he sees InuYasha. Koga steps back as
Kagura does the dance of the dead, but nothing happens. She then throws a dance
of blades at the near dead InuYasha, then a demonic aura surrounds InuYasha.
“What?” Kagura
replies startled.
“Don’t you lay
a hand on her,” InuYasha growled through his teeth, which grew longer as well
as sharper, “don’t you dare touch Kagome, she hasn’t done anything to you.” His
nails grew long and sharp as well, a pair of long purple marks on each side of
his face. His golden eyes were a dark turquoise surrounded by scarlet.
“What’s wrong
with you mutt?” Koga was scared, but who wouldn’t be with InuYasha giving off
the aura and scent of a full demon.
“Back off
wolf, unless you want the same fate as that witch,” he answered dully. He
extended his claws and ran after Kagura, Kanna disappeared leaving Kagura wide
open. He was a fury of silver cloaked in crimson aura, something that no one
would live through… Kagura was sliced in a similar fashion to Goshinki, except
her head was nowhere to be seen. Although she wasn’t fading like him, she
became toughs of Miasma that threatened to devour Koga and InuYasha alive.
“Fool, you
cannot destroy me that easily!” the Miasma tried to engulf them, it was
successful engulfing Koga. The Miasma could not penetrate InuYasha’s new aura
it was dispelled effortlessly. Koga was not so lucky; the foul Miasma turned
him to ashes.
“InuYasha,
prepare to die!” Naraku yelled as he tried to thrust a tentacle hand through
InuYasha’s back while he was looking at Kikyo's remains. He turned around and
sliced off Naraku’s arm.
“how dare you…
how dare you do this to Kikyo,” he growled softly while shading his eyes from
view, his aura grew even stronger, “how dare you send Kikyo to her death, and
for a second time. You will rot in hell for this Naraku.”
“Like you can
kill me you worthless half breed,” Naraku replied coolly, his arm regenerated,
“I’ll make sure that you actually see one of her three deaths.”
“There will
not be a third, yours will ensure it Naraku!” he yelled as he cut through
Naraku with his razor sharp claws, “this ends it all!”
“What about
Kikyo’s reincarnation? As we speak Kanna is starting the girl’s departure to
the underworld. Not to mention the Demon Slayer’s,” that was Naraku, trying to
plot even on his deathbed. He was starting to regenerate himself when InuYasha
felt an arrow piece his chest. It was Kagome; she looked like she was under another
spell. This time Kikyo wasn’t there to save him and neither was Kagome for that
matter. Tears flooded down her eyes as InuYasha was pinned to the Sacred Tree
once again.
“InuYasha… no,
I didn’t mean too… INUU YASHAAAA!” she screamed. She ran straight for him as he
fell unconscious. Once again his demonic aura vanished, and Kikyo appeared with
her Soul Collectors. She took the Tetsaigia and handed it to Kagome, she was
pissed. Kagome held the sword close to heart.
“I know you
hate me, but will you help me kill Naraku?” Kagome asked, setting the sword
down and knocking an arrow.
“Hate is an
understatement, but yes I will,” Kikyo knocked an arrow. Sango came running
from the direction Kagome had, she threw her Hiraikotsu at Naraku so that he
didn’t notice the two on the hill who were ready to waste him. Miroku sucked up
all of the demons that Naraku had summoned into his wind tunnel that is until
the Samiyosho appeared.
“Get ready
Kagome! I can’t hold him much longer,” Sango yelled, then Naraku pierced her
side with one of his hands.
“SANGO!”
Miroku yelled, “Sango no… you can’t die now. Not when were so close.” Naraku
then slice Miroku in half.
“Three down,
two to go. Why don’t you just give up?” Naraku mocked. Kikyo is not a person
who should be mocked; she gets back at people in very mean ways.
“Shoot right
after me,” Kikyo said promptly. She made a small grunt as she released the
arrow, Kagome shoot right after her.
“GO!” Kagome
said as she released hers. Note there is not one, but two sacred arrows flying
at Naraku. Then Kikyo send her Soul Collectors after the selfish creep. I would
not want to be in his shoes right now… Anyways back to Naraku.
“AAHHH!”
Naraku yelled as he starts to dissolve, here it comes, “Damn you KIKYO, and you
wretched child!” Naraku is gone before anyone else can get in a word, then
Kikyo shifts her direction towards the now dead monk and DemonSlayer.
“Ask Kaede to
help you with that,” Kikyo said before Kagome could ask, “as for you. GO HOME!
That is after you bury your friends. Take that damned sword with you, he’ll
have no use for it any time soon.”
“Take care
Kikyo,” Kagome said as Kikyo and her Soul Collectors disappeared with the
sacred jewel into the sunset.
Kagome did end
up asking Kaede to help, and after her friends were buried safely she returned
to the present with the Tetsaigia. She locked up the Tetsaigia in a place that
no one would find in a hundred years. Or so she thought…
