I'm a proud collector of Precious Moments. I'm also an honorary citizen of Sugar Town. The pieces that I mostly collect are from the Sugar Town Village which is now retired. I'll tell you a little story in how to get to Sugar Town and what happened in this little town.

How do you arrive at Sugar Town? First you must travel back in time...It's New Year's Eve. The air is frosty, the feeling, festive, and excitement is stirring. A baby is about to be born...baby Sam. Kindly Dr. Sugar arrives just in time.

Baby Sam is Precious Moments Artist Sam Butcher. And Sugar Town is created to honor Dr. Sugar, as well as Sam's many fond childhood memories, family and friends. In this quaint porcelain village, you will see your own holiday memories come to life...in Christmas carollers, children bearing gifts and boxes of decorations, lighted buildings, fences, sidewalks, bridges and winsome animals.

Suddenly, our town is your town. You won't find Sugar Town on any map. No roads leads you there. But it is there. It lives in our hearts. In our lives, In our minds. Sugar Town keeps on growing. You can even be a part of Sugar Town. It keeps on growing with more buildings every year. It even has a train to take you around to any place in Sugar Town.
