1834-1907
Dmitri Mendeleev was born in Siberia sometime in the year 1834, which he was the last of 14 cchildren. Dmitri Mendeleev changed or understanding of the properties of atoms and created the periodic table. Mendeleev was still young and finishing up high school when his father died. With most of his siblings out on their own. Dmitri and his mother move to St. Peterburg.
It wasnt until his late 1860s when Mendelleev began working on his great achievement(the periodic table of elements)which would change the whole world on their understanding of the universe. He did thise by arranging the 63 elements that were known at hat time, into groups of similar properties. He left a gap in the table and predicted a new element would be found and it would fill in the gap. It turn out he was right, three elements were found and they are the following:gallium, scandium, and germanium.
Dmitri later on went and got himself an scholarship to St Petersburg college. Mendeleev later became a teacher at St. Peterburg. As he grow older and wiser he accomplish many things and was rewarded with many honors. Dmitri later died in 1907 from influenza.
