Analyzing Tables and Creating Reports
 
  1. If you have questions, ask the instructor or the lab attendant for assistance.
      
  2. If you have not already done so, make a copy of the lab diskettes.  The lab diskettes can be obtained from your instructor or the lab attendant.
          
  3. Complete the third Access 2000 tutorial by following the instructions on pages AC3-1 thru AC3-43.  Note: the lab instructions are shown in blue text.
        
  4. Complete Hand-On Practice Exercises 1 & 4 on pages AC3-53 and AC3-55.
       
  5. Attach the completed Hand-On Exercises to an email addressed to your instructor by following these steps:
    1. Go to the  http://yahoo.com web site then click on the check mail icon to start yahoo mail.
    2. Sign-in to yahoo by entering your user id and password.
    3. Click on the Compose link to start a new message.
    4. In the To: box type the email address of your instructor (i.e. csit101@yahoo.com)
    5. In the Bcc: box type your email address. 
    6. In the Subject: box type-in Lab 14.
    7. In the Message area type in your name and class section number.
    8. Scroll the window until you see the Edit Attachment button.
    9. Click on the Edit Attachment button.
    10. After the attachment window appear, click on the browse button to select the file containing the database for Hand-On Exercise 1.  After selecting the file, click on the Open button.
    11. Click on the attach button to attach the selected file.
    12. Repeat steps 9 & 10 to attach the file containing the database for Hand-On Exercise 4.
    13. Click on the Done button.
    14. Click on the Send button to send your email.
