There may be a round 2 of UFA bidding, if enough high quality players were not bid on in round 1.

RFA'S

An RFA player is a player who's contract expires while they are 31 years of age or younger. The players existing team will have the right to sign the player to a new contract or release them. If the player is released by the exisiting GM he will be put into the UFA pool. There will be no compensation to the GM who released the RFA. A GM who releases an RFA may bid on them in the UFA pool if they wish. RFAs can be signed to a 1-3 year deal.

Rookies

Players entering the league each year through the amatuer draft will have their contract negotiated by their agent (HLC) before they sign with a team. You cannot change the initial length of a rookie contract, but rookie contracts will be available to view prior to the draft. The bottom 4 teams from the regular season will be put into a draft lottery for the top 4 picks in round 1 for the following amateur draft. The last place team will have a 40% chance of getting the top pick, 2nd last 30%, 3rd last 20%, and 4th last 10%.

Releasing Players

If a GM wants to release a player who is still under contract, they must pay out one full season's salary to the player. The player then is added to the UFA pool. This includes during the offseason.

Finances
If a team goes into a negative bank balance at any time, their current highest paid player will be taken and auctioned to the other teams. The peanlized team will have their bank balance reset to 5 million after losing the player.

Ticket prices can be changed before the start of a season and once per team during the season.

Ownership Salary

Each team will pay their team ownership an annual salary equal to 20% of their team payroll as of the first day of the season. Ownership salary will be locked at that amount for the duration of that season regardless of changes to payroll during the season.
