| My sister, her step son, and I flew to Colorado last summer. My sister always liked CW McCall and wanted to see Wolf Creek Pass and the Durango and Silverton RR. I never been that far so I agreed to go. The most fun was 4 wheeling. The only pics I had time today for were at Durango and Silverton RR.This pic was taken in thier museum by a nice stanger. |
| This pic was taken as the train was leaving the station in Durango. Three long hours later it will arrive in Silverton. The seats are reserved and crowded. Unlike other tourist trains, they don't let you wander around the train. If you are not going somewhere(bar or bathroom) you are to remain near your seat |
| This was probaby the most spectacular shot we got. It was shot by my sister. I was expecitng more spectacular scenery than we saw, but what we say was spectacular. If your going to Durango, I'd suggest 4 wheeling. You see more scenery faster and have more fun(no to mention is costs much less. 3 tickets were apx $180. A one day jeep rental $100. The scenery, priceless. |
