Inside the 'temporary' house

This page shows the rooms that have been built into the eastern end of our shed.  This will serve as our home during the construction of the main house.  Once the main house is completed this area will become guest accomodation, storage and laundry area.

This is the view as you walk through the double glass slider into the lounge area my computer is now located to left here through the doorway.  To the left before the doorway is where the stairs will go.  David is planning to use some timber from our land to build the stairs so they will be rough sawn and rustic looking.

These two pictures depict the stairwell before and after plastering.

This is my father-in-law painting Jen's bedroom.  She has moved in now so we'll have to take some more pics.

This is now our lounge room.  We have moved the furniture in though the walls aren't all finished as yet.  We are slowly making progress.

Here is David (Master builder) standing in front of the laundry door.  To his right is our kitchen as yet we have no benchtops and even though we have the gas cooktop it is still waiting to be installed that should happen some time in January.
