HIDDEN FEARS

Do you feel, can you hear, have you searched for hidden fears Burning to the touch, searing to the touch Leaving their reminders, advice from far below the ground Afraid of what I might miss, afraid of what I might discover Hoping to find my one true lover I will walk through this world a woman alone To rekindle a flame with warmth and desire To bring back love from the funeral pyre Make me a list, I am your slave For the kind words you say and a heavenly kiss I promise to obey Please turn away when I am disgusted and down I do not want you to see me pick myself up off the ground I pray to the stars I pray to the moon I pray for the children because they are doomed By these hidden fears Is how I will perish Under the soil No love to cherish
