Born in Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Lacamoire began studying classical piano at age four. After attending the prestigious New World School of the Arts in Miami, he studied film scoring, arranging, and jazz piano at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Since his move to New York City, Mr. Lacamoire has worked with Stephen Schwartz, serving as Associate Musical Director for revivals of Working, The Baker's Wife, and most recently, Pippin at the Paper Mill Playhouse. With Scott Schwartz, he has acted as Musical Director for the new musicals Bat Boy (hopefully bound for Off-Broadway), and Urban Myths. Mr. Lacamoire is also keyboardist and composer for the avant-garde rock quintet "Prelapse" (Avant Records). Thanks to the Schwartz family for the continuous stream of opportunities, and to his fiancée, Sarah, for her undying support.
