CWF AT CHALMERS C.C. HOUSE SHOW - 11/07/03
WINNIPEG, MANITOBA - CHALMERS C.C.
ATTENDANCE - 372

In Loving Memory of Michael "Crash Holly" Lockwood

The debut show of the Canadian Wrestling Federation at Chalmers is started off with a video replay of some of the big events that happened last week. From The Big Kahuna's rant on Pro Wrestling eXpress, Project X stealing the CWF Tag Team championships, Ryan Wood defeating five other men to win the CWF Junior Heavyweight title, only to defeat Elix Skipper to retain it later on, plus All Star Wrestling's own Rhyno "burying" Christian, and finally Spyder winning the CWF Canadian Heavyweight title, only for WWA Canadian Heavyweight champion/CMLL Heavyweight champion Vampiro to knock him down. Will Spyder retaliate?

The show starts off with The Big Kahuna coming to the ring. "You know, a lot has happened in the last week. First Tom Gorgas and Andy Morrison bashed the CWF, because they know that PWX and SCW just doesn't cut it in this world. But hey, no harm done to the CWF, just another reason why we are the most talked about promotion in this world. But it doesn't stop there. Now I am talking on a sad note. Four sad notes. First of all, Chris Champion, WWA president, retired from wrestling. His actions resulted in a couple other promoters realising that they had no time as well, so M-AW promoter Jack Larkin and Tom Gorgas as well have retired. I wish you both the best of luck in your future, whether we had our differences or not.

"But, last week our show was dedicated for two people. Wrestling legend Stu Hart and Michael "Road Warrior Hawk" Hegstrand. Continuing the sad year for wrestling, Michael "Crash Holly" Lockwood has passed away. Rest in Peace Crash." The Big Kahuna left the ring, saddened.

Starting off the show was the new CWF Junior Heavyweight Champion "Red Hot" Ryan Wood. Last week Wood outlasted "Mr. Showtime" Chance Beckett, El Tornado, Kevin "Cannonball" Cannon, Phoenix Dreamwalker and "Textbook" Tyson Dux to win the Junior Heavyweight championship. He stated that he would defend his championship in any ring, any time at any place. ASW wrestler Elix Skipper himself came out, and Wood defeated him as well! Wood already has a huge win under his belt. Tonight, Ryan Wood faces Kevin Cannon. The two had a good bout, Cannon went for his Cannonball Buster finisher, but Wood reversed it and hit a Libre Roll Up for the win.

Next up saw the strapless CWF Tag Team champions Death and Destruction make their way to the ring. They are accompanied by three hundred plus pound monster The Axe. Axe takes a microphone from ring announcer Wayne Stanton. "Last week at Hallowe'en Horrors, a disaster happened." said Axe, in his snarling grouch voice. "My two men, Killer Cox and The Machine, won the CWF Tag Team titles. They DECIMATED all teams. But it wouldn't be a show without All Star Wrestling, would it? That's what 'Project X' seem to think. Jerry Lynn and Sean Waltman attack and steal our titles, and when I chase them off, they make me miss my CWF Canadian championship match, a match I would have easily won. Spyder, we will deal with you later. But right now, if Project X don't come to see us, we will go and see them. And Dustin Salyers, you are running the show. Be warned. Return our belts, or risk seeing Midweek Massacre. We'll see you on Wednesday." After that, Death & Destruction left the ring.

Wayne Stanton reminded the fans that tonight's main event would see "Showtime" Robby Royce team with "Rugged" Rob Stardom to take on "Canadian Crime Spree" Spyder and Paul Diamond, but first we would see the Rockin' Rebels, the team comprised of "Rockin'" Rex Roberts and "Thrillin'" Dillon Robson take on The Sky Flyers, The Cassa Nova Kid and Mikey Miracle for the number one contendership to the Tag Team titles, pending Death & Destruction return from their tirade against All Star Wrestling. The match was a dandy with the Sky Flyers going great as underdogs, but they were underdogs in the match, and Rex Roberts put it away with the Slop Drop. The Rockin' Rebels are the number one contenders!

"Beautiful" Bobby Jay then made his way to the ring to host the "Beauty Shop". He announced tonights guest none other than Zack Mercury! "Welcome Zack, I would first like to thank you for coming. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a great show for you lined up tonight. Zack, first of all, how do you feel about not being involved in any championship chase right now?" Jay had a good first question. "Well, Bobby, you see, whether I have gold on my waste or not, I am a champion in all these fans minds!" The crowd cheers. Jay was mad, and replied. "Yes, but Zack, if you ask all these fans here who the real stud of this promotion is, I can guarantee you will hear a couple of answers, the Beautiful One or Bobby Jay, either would represent myself."

"You think so? Well, lets see... If Bobby Jay is the stud of the Canadian Wrestling Federation, start cheering...now!" The 350 plus in attendence booed. "If Zack Mercury is the stud of this promotion, cheer now!" The fans got on their feet and Jay knocked Mercury down from behind! He reached into his trunks and pulled out some brass knuckles...crack! Jay smiled. "Well I guess the 'stud' is no longer here! Next week, right here at Chalmers, I'll see ya around Zack."

The next match saw "Classic" Matt Fairlane take on Scott D'Amore. Neither man was in any contention of becoming the number one contender to a championship, but the match could elevate one or the other up the ranks, for sure. D'Amore missed a clothesline, which allowed a spinebuster from Fairlane. Matt Fairlane lifted the hefty man above his head for a verticle suplex. He hit it, and then picked D'Amore up by his waste and hit a Reverse Piledriver. That ended the match with Matt Fairlane the winner.

Wayne Stanton announced that the main event was only moments away, but the "Canadian Crime Spree" Spyder had a view words to say to one double champion. Stanton announced Spyder to the ring. "Last week I said there would be ripped skin, I said there would be blood, and I also said there would be some championship gold around my waste. All of those happened. But one wrestler from Mexico carrying a couple of titles didn't think that the CWF Canadian title was worthy of being 'Canadian'. Whether you call me a champion of this promotion or a champion of this nation, one thing is for sure, I am the best damn champion you will see in a long time. Vampiro... I am calling you out. November 20th. Pacific Coast Wrestling TV. This isn't for any championships. This is to see who is better. You win, you are the better man. I win, I am the better man. Accept my challenge so I can be done with ya."

It was the main event of the evening when Spyder teamed with Paul Diamond to take on "Showtime" Robby Royce and "Rugged" Rob Stardom. The match was a good one, and saw a huge double team move on the CWF Champion when Spyder accidently speared Diamond out of the ring, allowing Royce & Stardom to work on Spyder. They knocked him down, and both went to opposite turnbuckles. With each man having the same finisher, they both hit flying elbow drops. Both men made the cover. Diamond was standing up outside the ring, but made no intentions on helping Spyder. The show ends with Stardom and Royce's hands in the air.
