The week 3 lesson had to do with Photo Enhancement. This is the "truck" photo that we were given to practice on.

After some practice with the enhancement I decided to use it on some of my old pictures. These are pictures I took while in the Navy. They are from 1966 and 67. Originally they were on slides. I scanned the slides to my PC then used PSP-9 to enhance them. I had to use the clone brush in several places to remove some flaws. Then I used the straighten feature of PSP-9 to straighten the picture. Then cropped and used denoise to correct the graininess of the scanned picture. The One Step Photo Fix did a great job. Finally I found that a little sharpen added the right touch to finish.

Well, after that picture I had to go to the top of the tower and take this picture of Pisa.
