Born & raised Catholic, today I do
yoga and still admire some saints,
here & hereafter. Rejected as a
novice, I joined the navy. Did 3
years service, went to university
and got a BA. Then, employment in
libraries & recreation, then 7 years
teaching language & sports in Zambia.
Back home I got my BEd and taught in
Canadian schools. Then early retirement:
let the games begin!

Now I write poetry & letters, meditate,
spend much more time outdoors and on
nature-watch. I am indoors a geekess-
wannabe. I read my Sappho, Austen,
James, Plath and Atwood. I like to
swim, cycle, dance, write eMail.
