The Nail Art
The fact that I do nail art is kind of funny, since I used to bite my nails all the time (I quit cold turkey when I was 19)... though a drawing of Calvin and Hobbes on my left thumbnail was the first nail art I ever did, the balloon design just above is what really got me started... my left thumbnail is my centerpiece... I have a dangle hanging from it, and there's almost always an anime character (often Sailor Moon-related) adorning it...

The inspiration for the last design came from a fanfic written by Mooncat called "Undertow"... in fact, it inspired THIS theme for my left hand (the pic is HUGE, so I'm just posting a link to the pic)... the story was really intense, and sparked some POWERFUL imagery... Mooncat is in the process of revamping her pages, so when I get word on where the fanfic that inspired my nail job is up, I'll link to it...
Since I'm right-handed, I don't get to do the same sort of elaborate work on my right hand that I do on my left... but don't think for a minute that I don't do fun stuff with my right hand nails...
