Game History Alianor's family were middle-class workers, the faceless people that are necessary to everyday life. She had no brothers or sisters but seemed to do well enough for friends. She caused no problems and was generally pretty average as growing children are. She started her working career babysitting, and by the time she graduated from high school had had a series of jobs in the local fast food and housekeeping industries. She got a job as a waitress on a cruise liner and dated one of the pilots for awhile. When the cruise line ran into financial difficulties, they were laid off. He had connections with some of the free-spacers around that sector and joined up with one of them who was looking for a partner. Ali was a definite liability to them and applied herself to learning the trade. After a year or two she was competent to fly the ship and got her pilot's license. She broke up with her boyfriend a few months later and hooked up with a merc team that was passing through. They needed a transport pilot and she qualified. They got her in shape and trained her to use a blaster, and while with them she picked up other skills. A bit of medical knowledge from emergency triage, technical re pair, droid and computer programming etcetera forthe same reason. In an emergency, every pair of hands was needed and Ali had never turned down knowledge that came her way. Eventually the mercs disbanded after a job against a Vaderite outpost went bad and most of the group were killed. Ali was shot down but escaped capture. She worked more odd jobs here and there until finally she arrived in the Core worlds, appearing next on Coruscant. She got a job with a courier service and found the work interesting. She completed a tough assignment for one customer who's identity she didn't know, and found herself working almost exclusively for that person. Ali grew more and more curious about her benefactor, and eventually the person arranged for a private meeting to offer her employment working directly for her. The *her* in question was Tara Alderson, daughter of the Sith Master Jarek Alderson. Surprised, Ali nevertheless accepted. She still didn't know what she was delivering, but knowing who was sending them coupled with where she was delivering them, Ali became more careful. She didn't need Tara to tell her Imperial Security would be interested in knowing too. She continues to do her job and sometimes accompanies Tara as a bodyguard when she goes in person on secret visits to people. Tara began training her in the same ways Tara had been so the grids and enhancers etc. Whole 9 yards and not sparing her from any extreme. Ali followed Tara to Shardakour and became a citizen of the Confederation. Upon Tara's death she swore fealty to Christine Alderson-DuCruet and became a Handmaiden, relocating with Christine to Telos. OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION Tara had noticed their physical similarities and was determined to use that if she could. Ali underwent surgery to make her an exact double of Tara. Tara began training her to mimic her own Force signature and Force skills. As Tara had always underplayed her abilities before the Force Masters assigned her by the Emperor, this wasn't too difficult. Disguised as a bodyguard, Ali was with Tara constantly and was able to pick up Tara's walk, mannerisms and speech. Watching Tara interact with the various people of importance in the Empire was an education in itself, but once she realized that Tara tended to put on an act for them, it became much simpler. Tara had Ali substitute her on a few minor occasions while working out the finer points of the impersonation and after a few months, Tara decided it was time to put Ali to use. In disguise, Ali accompanied Tara to one of the weekly Court balls as one of her bodyguards, then slipped away to remove her dis guise and change into an identical dress. Tara danced with several men, and across the crowded room from Jarek switched with Ali. Tara slipped outside to rendezvous with someone on business, and left Ali to carry on in her place. Jarek cut in for a dance with *his daughter*, and realized the switch only because Ali had no link with him and had been kept away from him by Tara, so could not successfully fake their years of rapport. Jarek was furious but Tara defended her actions calmly, and when Jarek's concern for his daughter was laid to rest, he too came to see the benefits of a body double for his daughter. Ali spent most of her time in disguise as Tara's bodyguard, ready in case she is needed. She found it interesting watching Tara force herself to open up to her in order for AIi to be able to perfect the impersonation. Now she assists Christine as a handmaiden and receives Christine's memories as needed. Christine also has a secretary and aides. Hand maids help see that she is dressed properly that she is fed and housed, all her personal things are taken care of etc. Its a nice place where a maid won't be missing whereas an aide disappear for a while would be. Lady Liriel Doevidson took over as chief hand maiden during Ali's sojourn on Telos. Chrsitine and Xani are married of course they have two children of their own. Alida is Xani's aide and she is married to the captain of the guard Everard Reineach. The sub captain is Liriel's husband played by Jilly, Kend'l Lastn't'r. Michael is head of Xani's personal security. Years ago now had tried to kill Xani. Telos is like NYC. Xani is the ruler and there is a Governor Wilson. |
World Notes:
-- Character played in the Star Wars roleplay group, Cantina Roleplayers Guild .
FoE (Forces of the Empire) is a Star Wars role-playing group set in the ROTJ era more or less.
The Emperor survived the Death Star II as did Vader who lapsed back to the Dark Side. The
Alliance now controls a swathe of territory and the galactic civil war continues.
The club was begun way way back before the pre-quels and the two Sith rule but otherwise
has incorporated much of these additional movies.
