Mai Ling grew up in a wealthy banking family cosseted and with a bright future. A business accounting major she temped at the business during summers as did her brother. When their parents died in a boating accident Shang and Mai Ling were clearly stepping into their father's seat. But it was not to be.

Her brother paid to have her kidnapped and illegally lobotomized, then programmed to protect him as well as the banking corporation they had once ruled together after their father's death. Taurgimon helped free her from Shang's control but the surgery was irreversible.

Taurgimon gifted her with a truck full of explosives and let her park it outside the main bank building where her brother was working late at night. She called to inform Shang of her decision to rule the company alone and then detonated the truck destroying most of the city block and Shang along with it.

Taurgimon's grand plans for his own revenge against the Emperor succeeded to an extent but in the end Taurgimon was dead and Kali and Shiva were alive. The pair were taken into service by Tara Alderson and have worked for her on Shardakour since.

FoE (Forces of the Empire) is a Star Wars role-playing group set in the ROTJ era more or less. The Emperor survived the Death Star II as did Vader who lapsed back to the Dark Side. The Alliance now controls a swathe of territory and the galactic civil war continues.

The club was begun way way back before the pre-quels and the two Sith rule but otherwise has incorporated much of these additional movies.
