Its been three years now since Barry became his wife Lynne and a whole year as a single woman. So much has changed for Barry he can only wonder at the life he now leads.
The first few months without Barry had been a mixture of relief and loss. No more harrassment by his former wife and her massive male sex drive. On the flipside the insecurity of being alone and having to cope as a woman wasn't so hot.
Barry couldn't believe how many female things he hadn't learned in the previous two years as Lynne. In fact she had done little to help him adjust to being the wife and woman in the relationship and Barry was now finding out so much more.
Of course getting away with Lynne's murder had certainly hardened the former man. It was a tough choice as her death meant Barry would be consigned to life as a woman forever. He came to the conclusion he had no choice. Lynne ahd manipulated everything in the relationship and Barry had found himself totally dependent on Lynne financially. After the first time he left Lynne Barry found he had no way of surviving and reluctantly returned to more harrassment and humiliation at Lynne's hands. That's when he came to the conclusion that life as Lynne might be bearable if there was no husband around, permanently.
The life insurance he'd lovingly taken out to ensure his bride would be looked after should he die was now Barry's ticket out. The accident went as Barry hoped and Lynne's male arrogance making her drive because he wanted to enjoy a drink ensured he was sitting in the passenger seat and unbelted when they ran off the road in poor conditions. Of course the drivers air bag was a godsend for the woman who had just lost husband. Seeing Lynne's crumpled body laying on the bonnet made Barry so sad as he knew his life he loved was gone forever. His sadness ensured people took him to be greiving.
The insurance came through and Barry after a suitable time began to build up his own business in hosiery. One thing Lynne had taught him was to be an expert in the area of pantyhose stockings and all things nylon. His little home business was growing and found himself importing larger and larger amounts of stock. Of course he always made sure he was a satisfied customer before he'd promote a new product. Barry was indeed a nylon expert and he thanked Lynne for both the training and the legs!
It was Barry's legs that had attracted Ken when he pitched his product to his new client. No matter how focussed Ken tried to remain he couldn't get Lynne's legs out of his mind.
It was Ken's genuine smile that had attracted Barry as he listened to his pitch. No matter how much he focussed Barry couldn't get Ken's smile out of his mind.
Barry felt funny inside when he was around Ken and wondered where this might take him?
