Brendan's Challenge
Caption #568
Brendan sat and ate his lunch alone. He never planned on being his sister but know a year after the accidental swap he was beginning to accept the change. The siblings never told anyone what happened, not even their parents. Celeste was the one who suggested they keep it a secret in case they both ended up in some nut house.
Suddenly being 8 years older was a shock to Brendan but so far he had coped ok. Celeste wasn't too excited about being 17 again and having to redo the last year of high school but she figured she'd be able to get a better job than she had. As for Brendan being a secretary didn't tax him too much mentally so he was able to adjust. Celeste had helped heaps with advice on female thigns to know as well as typing lessons. Giving up her wardrobe had probably been the hardest thing for Celeste. Giving up football was probably Brendan's biggest regret.
Brendan looked at the empty chair at his table in the company coffee lounge. He had begun dreaming recently that Ted Brooks from marketing was sitting there, whispering silly asides to Brendan who would giggle and blush at his lewd suggestions. Why he was feeling this way Brendan didn't know. He wasn't into men although he hadn't had any success being a lesbian either.
Imagine Brendan's surprise when he saw Ted heading his way with his lunch and a broad smile on his face. He didn't want this too happen, yet somewhere inside him Brendan DID want this too happen.
A few thoughts rushed through Brendan's head. Could he be a straight girl with a guy? What would Celeste think? Do I look hot?
