Good for Business

Caption #608

Gillian stared at the screen before her and paused to consider how things had changed in the last three months.

Gillian never asked to have a daughter to have to worry about. Now though sitting next to her and chatting online to all sorts of guys was Trudy.. her husband. Who was really her ex-husband now she figured.

Life had been normal for the couple who ran their own business from home. Trent did the financial and accounting side and Gillian did the sales and marketing. Since Trent had become Trudy though, Gillian was doing everything. If only Trent hadn't accepted that strange woman's offer to grant him anything he wanted.

Trudy wasn't interested in Gillian any more, just guys!

That day in the little town off the beaten track, he had stopped for lunch at her cafe. Trent was prone to boasting and his idle words of how he could turn this place into a good little money spinner were ill considered and probably rude. All through the nice lunch Trent continued to offer the woman all sorts of advice on how to better run her establishment. As he was paying and still adding some advice, the woman gave Trent something to think about.

"Sir you have been most helpful with your advice today. I cannot let you leave without thanking you with a token of my appreciation."

"Not necessary madam I just saw a few problems you had missed is all." Trent replied.

"Quite sir, your observations are noted," the woman replied while disguising her disdain for Trent. "In return for you advice I offer you this reward token good for one wish.

"Thank you madam that is most gracious, goodbye." Trent said flatly.

Trent had been expecting something of value. Flipping the metal disc onto his car dashboard he drove off and headed home. It wasn't until the next day as he and Gillian were driving back from the supermarket that he mentioned the token and showed it to her. Gillian knew Trent well enough to imagine just how his lunch had gone down yesterday. She told her husband he probably pissed off the woman with his know-all attitude and that was her way of telling him to take a hike.

Trent hated having his ego deflated by his wife's no nonsense comments. If only she wasn't such a smart-alec bitch. As he drove, he pictured his ideal woman in his head. Blonde, young, eager for sex, not too bright but good at making sales! Their business would thrive! As he daydreamed he spied the disc. Could it? Would it?

Trent snatched the disc up as they reached home. Without telling his wife Trent made the wish for his perfect woman. What happened next left them both shocked. Trent made his wish and it came true. Only problem was he had become his own perfect woman!

Of course they went back to the cafe to fix things but the woman only laughed them off. She did say the token could only work on the recipient so that's why Trent was now Trudy.

Week by week Trudy became less like Trent and more like his ideal woman. It wasn't long before men began to enter Trudy's life and Gillian was forced to acknowledge their marriage was over.

The first night Trudy stayed out all night with a guy Gillian was furious but was forced to face the fact life was now forever different. The workload on her became high as Trudy did little to help, that was until Gillian encouraged her to take on the sales side of their business. That was the master stroke that got things back on track, although Trudy's stlye was a bit over the top.

So now Gillian turns a blind but annoyed eye to Trudy's man eating because in the end business is much better!
