24th March 2005
So I leave in a few days to St. Kitts. I have only just found out there is nothing much there except a beach, pool and nearby a doment volcano which apparently they are going hiking up one day. I am going to be bringing a few dvds with me and hopefully they will have a dvd player set up in the house somewhere so when i babysit I can watch movies.
Tomorrow is good friday. They are having sales on in Oxford St so I am going shopping with Gen and then in the afternoon I will pack my stuff to go.not much else to say. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable EASTER!

15th March 2005
So its been a few weeks since I last updated. I have news to talk about this time. I left London for the day on Sunday with Lisa (nanny friend) to Bath. Bath was fabulous. I got to see the Roman Baths, where Jane Austin lived, the circus and the royal Crescent which looks like any other row of houses but from the aerial view is quite amazing. I left the house at 6:40 and didnt come home till after 10 that night. It was a long day but well worth the 6 hours return it took to get there and back for £13. While we were there we met up with Emma, she used to live in Mill Hill Broadway (Nth London) but moved to near Bath to be with her boyfriend. Well we met up with her and did some sightseeing. I have a ton of photos so I am going to post them up on the site for anyone to take a look at them.
On other news. I am finally doing my first aid course this weekend. It has taken me over 5 months to get into this course. It is rediculous! It isnt long now that the family I work for are going to St. Kitts in the Carribean for a week. I can't wait to go. Unfortunatly we leave on the 26th March during the easter holidays which means I don't get any time off from work. I would have loved to go somewhere this Easter by myself. Oh Well!! Hey! So I havent been doing much of anything lately. I have been working heaps. I tried to meet up with some friends earlier this week but to no avail. I decided to go to the movies on Tuesday night. I went to see "shall we dance" with Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez. I thought it was a ok movie. I wouldnt recommend seeing it however. I only went to see it because it was the only movie I hadnt seen and I needed to get out of the house for that night. The parents went away last Thursday and I had the children by myself until Saturday when they hired someone to come in and give me a hand. I was totally knackered by Monday. Apart from that, I am working this weekend as well as the father is away on a stag weekend in Miami, USA.
Hopefully got some better news next week..

22nd February 2005
Last Friday I was thinking about what I should do this weekend. I didnt want to spend another weekend at home doing nothing. I decided to go out of London for the day, I couldnt go on Saturday because I was working Saturday night, so I went on Sunday. I had a fabulous time in Oxford. I took a few photos of the famous campus's of Oxford University. It was a cold day there so every few hours I needed to go into a building and get warm..
Today has been a great day. Not too much stress. It is the first time it snowed overnight and it didnt melt by the morning. I woke up to frosted snow houses and grass. I was really excited and got Jasmine really excited about seeing snow.
They have found a nanny for this weekend. She can only work on Saturday and Sunday which means Ive got to struggle on Friday to get everything done.
I didnt post any photos of my hair last week because since I've cut it short I'm having a lot of trouble keeping it straight. I really need to buy a hair straightner. Well I'm off to wake Jasmine now...YAAAYYY!!! It's snowing again...

15th February 2005
It was another long week! I didnt do much this weekend. The family went away to Peterborough and I stayed at home watched a lot of TV, went on the net and read books. I went to see the new house in the morning on Saturday. It is huge! I am going to spend a lot of time trying to keep it neat and tidy. My room is much bigger with its own bathroom once again. It has a indoor heated swimming pool with a lot more rooms and its own security camera system which is pretty neat.
I also got my hair done that afternoon. It is much shorter now with layers and highlights. I havent got any pics of me yet so when I get some done possibly tonight I will post them up. I am seeing Gen tonight for dinner after work. I havent seen her in like 3 weeks, its been ages.
This week is half term so Jasmine is not at school. She has been pretty well behaved and not causing too much trouble. Usually if she is off from school she is always into mischief.
I have hopefully sorted out my bank account problems. If they accept my proof of residence then I have finally done it. It has been six months of constant stress about it.
Next week the parents are going to Barcelona from Thursday to Sunday. I will be in sole charge the entire time. I am suppose to be getting someone to help me on the weekend but don't think they have had any takers on the job.
Not much else news to say. 39 DAYS TO GO UNTIL ST. KITTS!!!

8th February 2005
Returned from Leeds. I had a fabulous time there. It is very much industrial but it is soo much easier to walk around then London. On the plus side, Joy and her boyfriend live so close to everything they dont have to take taxi's or buses to get anywhere.
I will put some photos up this week from Leeds. I am spending this week to get my paperwork in order. I thought I was working Tuesday and Wednesday but it looks like I'm not anymore, only Friday. I will have to get out of the house wednesday night or something. I am meeting Tracy for coffee (the nanny who lives in Hampstead Garden Suburb) on Thursday night. Apart from that I don't have any other plans.

2nd February 2005
It's the beginning of a new month, not much has changed since January. They always say January feels like February, I can see the peoples point now. Today's a Wednesday, it's Gymboree day, I take Jasmine to gymboree in the afternoons, I guess its my break away from the house with just Jasmine. I usually think its nice to have this time with her without Natasha or the mother around. I have to get her up in a few minutes. This will be the only chance I've got to post until I come back from Leeds this weekend. I am meeting up with Sarah, my ex-bosses ex-nanny on Thursday with Gen and Anna at Shephards Bush for dinner. SHe is headed back to Australia, she has had enough of searching for a job here in England. It is a little sad she is going and I hardly got to see her while she was here but hopefully I will see her when I get back to Aus in a few years time.

29th January 2005
This week has been an annoying one. I have been sick with this flu. Everyone at the moment has it and it annoys me because I was suppose to be going to Bath this weekend but I didnt feel up to it. I just realised last week I thought I was catching a flu and I must have been right. The naming ceremony went well. I had 2 babies mostly to look after plus a few toddlers but they were pretty self controlled with the older kids looking after them. I went to see Elektra with Jennifer Garner on Sunday with Anna. She had lost her mobile, money, ids, debit cards, and keys to her house that night before, I felt so sorry for her cause her whole new life in England was in that bag minus her passport and credit cards. She didnt get any of that personal stuff back unfortunatly.
I got some good news however. I found a aussie nanny working in Hampstead Garden Suburb. I am trying to meet up with her sometime this weekend. I will see what happens. I wasnt quite sure I was feeling 100% to be going out the next night but today I am feeling a lot better. I will see what happens.

16th January 2005
Another week, another hard week more then most. I didnt feel 100% ok this week. I wasnt catching a flu, I just had no energy to do anything most of the week. I had to work this Saturday and the following because the family are having a naming ceremony for Natasha. I wil be looking after a few children whilst this is going on.
I am making plans to go to Leeds with Anna and Gen for the 5th/6th Feb to visit Joy and her boyfriend in there new house. I can't wait! We were just talking about it today and they were thinking of doing a housewarming party that weekend.

8th January 2005
So I am back from Paris. France was absolutely beutiful. It is warmer then in London but not by much. The family in Paris (friends of my mums were super sweet to me). They took me to places such as Versailles palace and Disneyland. I was able to meet up with Anna while she was there. We met up under the Eiffel Tower, I wasnt able to go in at that time cause I was very late meeting up with her. I was physically exhausted from the day before. I have accomplished so much while I was there. I saw the Eiffel Tower from the 2nd floor (at night). I saw the Moulin Rouge from the outside, Arc de Triomphe, Madeiline, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, Cemtiere la pere Lachaise (The Grave where Jim Morrison lives), The louvre, saw the xmas lights in Paris, went ice skating. The celebrate Xmas dinner on Xmas Eve not like in Australia Xmas day. New Years Eve was the usual though except to me it didnt feel like New Years eve. I was kind of in a daze land that night and following morning probably because of the extra amount of cheese I ate that last few days lol! Yes they love there smelly cheese and gorgeous bread. I could eat there bread for days and days. It is nothing like what we can buy in Australia or London. I also took a fancy to there salmon and Patte, I couldnt stop eating it.. I was sad to leave on the 2nd because I was going to miss eating the food and not having to cook, clean or work for that matter.
I am now settled in back at work and I am starting to feel the bad flu vibes. I really cant afford to take any days off work right now because I am going to be having to work a lot the next month. Photos from Paris will be putting up on my website sometime this week. Look out for them. I also got the photos from Anna (professional photos). They look fantastic and if anybody sees me online at the moment all know I have it set up on it. lol!! OK everyone have a good weekend. au revoir!!

heres the latest news. I have just got the net reconnected to the comp in my room. Thank goodness! I am so excited to be able to do stuff on the net that i normally couldnt do because I never have enough time using the families computer. Christmas holidays are coming up, everyone is getting xmas cards out now before they leave. I have had so many cards for the family that has come in. I have had only a few from my closest family, friends, pals that have arrived. I dont mind as much cause its only a peice of paper. as long as I get a email from them I am more happy about that. I leave next Thursday afternoon for Paris. the family leave on Thursday morning for Peterborough so it gives me time to pack that morning. I know I will be busy packing for the family on Wednesday night.
I met up with the nanny who lives in Golders Green at Starbucks on Monday night for a coffee. She is really sweet. Her name is Lisa and she is South African. We are meeting up on Sunday to go and see some of Englands sights. You hear that dad, I am finally getting out of London. lol!! I have been here 4 months and havent left London exception of New York and Mauritius. Tomorrow is Anna's birthday party. It starts at 6pm but I doubt I'll get there by then because the family have allowed me to finish at 5pm but it takes me 1 1/2hrs to get to her place and i need at least 15 mins to get myself looking half decent. ok, wish me luck for tomorrow. p.s. (reminder to myself) need to get glamour photo cd from anna tomorrow..

2 weeks to christmas day, its hard to believe. I have been doing a lot of shopping for family, friends. I went to see Bridget Jones Diary 2 at the movies last weekend with Joy. It was pretty funny but the first one was definatly the best. I am hoping to see Blade 3 tomorrow with Gen, but she is going to get back to me about that. I heard back from a nanny at Golders Green and were going to see if we can meet up sometime next week. I am getting all excited about Paris in 2 weeks. I just hope I dont get lost. So I am babysitting tonight, I am kind of bored, watching TV but no good movie is on except touch of frost which I do like (I know weird) but I have seen this episode more then once. ok i found CSI its better then nothing.seeya!!!

So I thought I better post in, to let you know I am sending the xmas cards out today and the very late mauritius postcards to people i promised I would send them to. I wasnt able to get to a post office during the week and this was the most possible time to do it.
Im listening to capital radio at the moment and they reckon I have about 1/2 hr before panic sets in about not buying xmas presents. I am nearly finished shopping now. Got the kids presents to buy for the family and I am done. I cant believe I have nearly finished shopping, now I am going to make my way to trafalgar square to the post office there somewhere because apparently it is open on saturdays. so very soon the cards/presents are going out.
I have also picked up my tickets to Paris from Waterloo station, I had to make one change to them because I had the wrong date to leave. Its all good now and REALLY looking forward to going in 3 or so weeks..GAH!!!!

the latest news. I got the glamour photos back. I didnt get my cd for some reason with all the photos. I am going to have to copy the photos from Anna's cd. This weekend was pretty busy. I worked friday night and all day Saturday so I was kind of tired. I went out Saturday night and did some market shopping during Sunday at Camden Market for the first time. I love that market, so much cheap clothes, jewelery and bits and peices exactly what I needed for xmas shopping it was a pity I ran out of money. I will have to come back next weekend. I am also picking up my ticket from Waterloo station for my trip to Paris this weekend.

27th October 2004
Ok, It was my 21st birthday yesterday. congrats on me, I am now legal everywhere except for one state in the USA. I am also back from New York which I have forgotten to update since I have been back. I have been seriously jet lagged and too tired to even get on the net to post photos until this weekend. I have got to do the photos tonight or i wont get a chance to do it until I get back from Mauritius in a few weeks time. This weekend has been a blast. On Friday Anna, Chris and Murray took me to this club that closes at 11 or so so we didnt spend much time at this place (the name of it I cant even remember) then we took the underground train to leicester square (I dont even remember taking the train thats how badly I was getting drunk). We went to the walkabout which are famous clubs/pubs for Australians and Kiwi's. There is a lot of Australians that go to this branch in Charing Cross. I was seriously drunk by the time I hit the dance floor. I passed out in the bathroom not long after and had to be taken to a taxi by Anna, Chris and Murray to the guys new place on the piccadilly line (the name of the tube stop I have forgotten, they have only lived there over a week now). I remember sleeping on the couch most of the night and waking up around 7:30am feeling crap but ok. I was suprised because I have had a lot more to drink heaps of times before this night. I put it down to not eating lunch and having this dinner at burger king that was greasy and not being able to rest afterwards and drinking that night a shot but with milk in it. Anything milky and I instantly start feeling sick. I feel so bad for Anna cause she had to look after me. So that was my Friday night.
I had to leave to Peterborough on Sunday night, the family was visiting there family up there, so I took a national rail train for the first time in England. The trains here go very fast, to the point where your ears pop a lot. I spent one day in Peterborough and had to come back to London the following night because it was my birthday and I had Tueaday and Wednesday off from work (26th, 27th). I went to visit my mums friend Lina in Maida Vale for a few hours then I did some major shopping for mauritius. I have now got everything organised for the two weeks there. We leave on the 5th November (my brothers 17th birthday). That only left me one weekend to do shopping which wasnt enough time considering I wanted to go see the theatre on Saturday or Sunday.
I am glad I have finished shopping, it is such a nuisance, buts its over now. I havent put any information about New York here because I am going to make a page about my entire trip to New york sometime this weekend including photos. Oh I have also got some exciting news. Me and Anna got glamour photos done of us on Friday evening. We got about 60 odd photos each taken plus our hair, nails, makeup done. It cost a lot but hey its my 21st bday, I really had to do something major. It was heaps of fun. We should get the photos in about 6 weeks time. Well thats my update. I will post the link to the New York page as soon as i get it done. I am a very slack in posting photos..

3rd October 2004 Sunday
It's been a few weeks since I've updated. I am off to New York next Saturday with the family for a week to see her family, friends etc and to shop. I will be staying with the grandmother and Jasmine at her house and the mother, father, Natasha will be staying at a hotel 5 blocks down. I am hopefully going to have some time off to see New York and catch up with an old penpal of mine who is living here.
There isnt much else to talk about. I might update before I leave.

Wow, I cant believe I havent updated in ages. I have been busy working. I never seem to have enough hours in the day to do any net stuff. I did get time the other weekend to download all my photos and put them on to my yahoo photos website. so anybody wanting to take a look they can. the address is here
I survived the week, it has been quite tiring. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.
I am going to the theatre hopefully tomorrow night. I've been saying I would be going for ages, but it hasnt happened. I am definatly going to do it tomorrow night. I have to buy a travel bag as well so I might come back and then leave again to go for the theatre. A few people have said they havent received my emails, If you havent, email me and I will try to send them again.

Hello everyone, sorry it has taken me ages to update this thing. I've found a new job. I am looking after two children. 2 girls one is 7 weeks old and the other is 2 1/2 years. She is starting nursery 5 days a week starting monday so I only have one child with me in the mornings from now on. Its going to be a hard week next week but hopefully it will give me more time in the day to do things now. I am going to New York with the family in 2 weeks as well, which is a bonus. It looks like my plans to start to travel in March/April next year have been put on hold for another year until my time is up with this job. So far its going well. Very tiring! i will update soon with more details.

2nd September 2004 Thursday
It has been a slow week. Waiting to hear back from agencies can be the worst. It was the Notting hill carnival weekend on Sunday and Monday. I went on Monday. My friend who lives in Westbourne Park was like right in from of the stands so all the dancers would go straight past her place and they would try there hardest in front of the judges. it was so cool i decided to stay around her place and watch it. soo many people and it was way too crowded out on the streets. the entrance to the house is where i sat and watched the parade, only people who live in the building are allowed to sit where i was sitting around. my friend joy lives there. she was suppose to be there but she got kicked out of the house while her friend had her boyfriend over. I didnt get to see her all that much cause she had to go to work and had her best friend with her. i got a whistle out of all that from joy tho. i had a few drinks on the balcony and sat there for at least 6 hours. i did try to go and look around but it ended up me being stuck in the people for 1 1/2 hrs trying to get back. it was exhausting. well ive got to go pple, money running out

28th August 2004 Saturday
London life is all good. Been very bored lately. I am waiting on agencies to call me back in terms of work. Its taking forever. I have to wait until Tuesday now because its a long weekend here with banks closing or whatever its called. I am going to the nottinghill festival tomorrow to see how that is, it only comes once a year so it should be good. I might have to go to the movies or something on Monday to fill in time. I have a few interviews with agencies on Tuesday but so far I have had only one interview with a family and they wanted a year so I couldn't do that.
not much else news. I might update on Wednesday when I email my parents.

24th August 2004 Tuesday
Well I am in London now. It has taken me a while to update this thing, sorry all about that. I havent found the time to do it, honestly. i have been doing all the touristy things and go and see the buckingham palace changing of guards, national gallery, hyde park, kensington palace, tower of london and trying to find a job as well. I had a interview at a nanny agency yesterday. I think it went well. I need to give them a new resume so I am going to do that very soon. I get free access to a computer to type stuff at the library. It doesnt have access to the net though.
I am living at the St. Christophers lodge in Southwark London. About 2 mins walk from London Bridge station. It's very central to everything. It's really good. I havent got any photos to post as yet, I am havin problems trying to find a computer that will allow me to do it. oh well! I am meeting a old friend from high school today at Piccadilly Circus in front of her work. I havent seen her in years.

17th August 2004 Tuesday
Ok I'm off tomorrow. I can't wait. It's a nervous 24 hours now. I am just making sure I've got everything. I've just remembered I need a cup. darn!! I am also waitiung for my dad to come home so he can ingrave my name on the digital camera for me. I have to sort out the money purse thing and the small bag im keeping my mobile and camera in.
so this is the last time you will hear from me for a week, until I have settled in.
I might be working with a family in Surrey, London but I'm not sure if i want to take that position as it is in the countryside and only a mothers help job.

Had exchange my watch today, had problems trying to change the time on it. Got a smaller one now, it's all good! I've booked to get some south korean won at travelex currency exchange. I'm going to get that on Friday afternoon when they call me.

9th August 2004 Monday
Got some good news and some bad news. I got a new backpack, hiking shoes, sleeping bag, sleeping sheets. The bad news, mum and dad think its better if they give me money instead of a party. I would like a party but money is really good too, I spent a lot of money with the new bag etc and it will come in handy when I am in London. I guess I've made up my mind. Not having the party, get money instead.
I'm going to the EKKA on Thursday with Tania. She got a free ticket! It should be fun with the baby animals, showbags and rides. I'm not buying nothing while I'm there tho.

5th August 2004 Thursday
Got some good news. Having a pre-21st birthday party/farewell lunch on the 14th August at Carinya restaurant on the Gold Coast. It is in the ANA hotel. I had the fabulous breakfast last time my mum and me stayed there. At the moment it looks like I will be inviting family, Tania, Jade plus there boyfriends.
My aunt and sort of Uncle are going on a Europe tour a few weeks after I go to London. They are going there too but I might not be in London when they arrive. I don't want to stay in London too long. They are coming to see me this Sunday to say goodbye. I don't know why they bother. They couldnt even remember how old I am.
I'm going to buy a different backpack. As you all know this shitty one I can't carry around at all. Going to the valley (City) to have a look tomorrow. Not much to update.

A new month and the countdown begins. 18 days to go!
I got my new camera on Monday. It's really cool to use. I've got a few clips I've made.
I Booked accomadation for the 1st 2 nights in London. I havent had the best luck trying to find the right place I wanted to stay. It will have to do. I'm still thinking of going to the Leeds Festival the following weekend I am in England. I am having problems trying to find somewhere to stay in Leeds. There isnt any hostelsbut they do have cheap b&b's so I'm thinking b&b's are the only way to go. There isn't much else been happening around here. I'm going to sign off for now.
