There is a hill on the other side of the world, yet it is always beside us. The dirt is cracked and there are scarcely any plants on this hill. Rocks are strewn about as if all the children of the world had gathered in a game of hopscotch. When the wind blows, the parched land is revealed.
Some might say "This hill is worthless, nothing will grow there." But something does grow there, and everyday the growth becomes more widespread. For on this hill stands the cross on which Jesus Christ the Lord died for our sins so that we may live. And as more people realize this, more love covers the hillside.
So those that look at the hill and say "What a horrid sight" and see nothing by the land, will hang their heads in shame when the Lord holds out His hand.
