The Sign of the Truth-seeker or Scientist
"I Know My Name, But Who Am I ?"
Uranus rules unexpected change, upheaval, revolution. It is the symbol of total independence that asserts the freedom of an individual from all restriction and restraint. It is a break-through planet that indicates talent, originality and genius in a horoscope. It usually causes last-minute reversals and changes of plan, unwanted separations, accidents, catastrophes and eccentric behaviour.
It can add irrational rebelliousness and perverse bohemianism to a personality or a streak of unaffected brilliance in science and art. It rules technology, aviation and all forms of electrical and electronic advancement. It governs great leaps forward and topsy-turvy situations, and always turns things around at the last minute. Its effects are difficult to ever really predict, since it rules sudden last-minute decisions and events that come like lightning out of the blue.
For one romantic moment, picture yourself relaxing on the soft, white sand of Hawaii in the cool of a glorious summer's evening; the silver moon shimmering across the sea as the waves lap lovingly over pure white pebbles, while palm trees sway rhythmically to the beat of rumba drums. What you see depicts the cool characteristic of our Water-bearer and the subtle rhythms and motions of Cuba.
Here's a little Uranium guidance: Sex should not be taught in public schools - unless, that is, teachers really want to learn something.
Aquarians don't have the best memories in the world, but then they really don't need to have much of that, since they seem to pick up knowledge out of thin air, with some kind of invisible antennae. Why should they clutter their minds with info they may never need, when they can reach out by osmosis and grasp just about anything they want? This theory doesn't always help them when learning to dance, because understanding detail and consolidating it, is a necessary part of becoming competent.
As for exercise, unless Aquarians developed an early love of sports like dancing or gyming, it's difficult to prod them into moving fast, let alone getting them to run around the track or prance around the floor. Their grey matter requires no workout, but the body needs a push 'n a shove; not the best dance partner to rehearse with, but once lazybones develops the exercise and dancing habit, they're hard to hold back. The favourite dances of the Water-bearer are Boogie for its carefree style and music, Waltz for its romantic connotation, Cha-Cha for its cheeky approach and Tango for its dramatic effects. The Aquarian is interested in groups, how they are structured, their behavioural patterns and so on. So please put them in one of those classes, they'll have a rave.
They enjoy bringing people together and seeing everyone live in peace and harmony, which makes them a boon to every dance school whose structure provides regular gatherings such as exams, competitions, exhibitions, parties and socials. It's normally at these get-togethers that they perform best, whether it be mixing and mingling or putting their best foot forward before crowds and examiners - the Acquarian STANDS OUT, and it's not because she has a bucket of water on her head. Since group and teamwork come naturally to this sign, formation dancing and all the fun of putting the movements together with others is what really excites them.
Of all the signs of the Zodiac, Aquarius is perhaps the most progressive. People born under this sign are usually quite tolerant and broadminded. There is a saying that most Aquarians are 50 years ahead of their time. This could be true, since these creatures of the well are already dancing the Moose, which we know will be the rave of the year 2050. But worry not, it's nothing any generation before that date will dig - to Moose, you stand for two beats with your left finger in your right ear (thank goodness it's your ear), then, for a measure or more, you make a radical move by swapping fingers with the left ear, tug your snozzle, wag your big toe and let rip with the music... and PLEASE look normal. By the way, in the year 2049 the Moose will be classified as Ballroom and registered as an Olympic item - will you be ready for it?
LOVE: Is Chaotic. Affections whimsical, emotions sparse. There is no kindred spirit, no warmth, nothing towering, no discretion. Involvements, entanglements and predicaments predominate. This one is disruptive, cares little, has no aspirations, no future. It relates not to love, uses love. Something is corrupt; manipulated by powers of darkness.
PASSION: Is tumultuous. Deep pent-up energies are liberated. Only serves to indulge, to lavish, to charm. Everything goes where the wind blows. The juices flow, the fire fumes. This one is uncanny. Nothing is undone, nothing curtailed - it's bizarre, hyper, befuddling and without continuity. Physical exchange is an escape from reality, love is a fizz, romance a forlorn, forgotten dream - passions are persistently on strike for higher sensations. There is no beginning or the end is near - no illusions, no false hope.
Dance: Is ominous, with cheerful promise. Demands alacrity and verve to sustain the hype, the tempo, the pace, the style. A chirpy Cha-Cha here, a tantalising Tango there restores contentment, albeit pseudo and meteoric. The beat is pure but the bodies insecure. A glimmer of light, there's hope!… dancing revives all demised emotions… arms fling joyously, hips swing rhythmically, hearts flutter frivolously. All lines are clean and sharp, lunges deliberate and imposing. Footwork leaves much to be desired but harmony of happy action smile healthily as the joys of jolly commitment abide - it's all a fleeting, fabulous journey. But in dance, Uranus the Water Bearer yearns longingly to prance and synchronise symphonically with Neptune the Fish - the perfect pair - a cucaracha, a cucaracha...
Love mismatches and matches
Aquarius
& Aquarius
Double the pleasure, double the dancing, double
the fun. Well, maybe some of the time anyway. Same-sign partners tend to
reinforce each other's weak-nesses as well as their strengths. This is
an equal-opportunity partnership in which each of you will give the other
plenty of freedom, the problem being that eventually one may just keep
going.
Neither of you two Water Bearers would dream of pressuring the other to make a commitment before the time was right. Each will allow the other to march independently to the sound of that different drummer. You'll always know when to be there for the other - in mind, if not also in body… vastrap.
Aquarius
& Pisces
The fact that both of you are visionaries should
make things easier - but it rarely does. You want to save the world with
ideas and abstractions but, in so doing, have little time or energy for
emotion. Pisces is all about emotion, intimacy and feelings.
The tensions between you are powerful, but so is the potential. A union of feeling and intellect sounds perfect. It'll work if you realize and appreciate the madness and magic of your Pisces. Saving the world is all very well and good, as long as your Fish doesn't swim off in search of a more intense, emotional lover… waltz it.
Aquarius
& Aries
Aries Rams throw themselves into new things with
total commitment. You don't throw yourself into anything. Studied detachment
is your game. If you can survive that basic difference, your shared taste
for change and challenge can make for an exciting and highly original union.
Cerebral and independent, you shy away from demands
of any kind and tend to get jittery when confronted by too much togetherness.
Aries is into instant gratification and thrives on attention. Rise above
this, and you may have found the ideal you've been searching for - the
one who curls your toes while keeping you on them… cha, cha, cha.
