WARNING: I read this entry over since I had to re-type it due to the fact that geocities wouldn't let me save. It is a complaining, whining-at-every-little-thing ranting type of entry. You have been warned. What a day. I had a very bad first day of High School. I'll explain it event by event. Okay I get to school and I thought I knew how to get to me locker. Wrong. Okay I wandered and luckily I found it pretty quick since I had some idea. I discovered that my locker jams, so you have to kick it shut. The intercom lady said to go to first hour so naturally I ask someone to for help. Well 3 different teachers pointed in 3 different directions. Amazingly, I found it. Well in this Geometry class instead of desks it has tables for four. Three sophmores sat down at mine. They're pretty nice but I kinda get the feeling they think of me as the poor lost little freshman. They were saying that the class is mostly sophmores "and smart little freshmanmans like her" (pointing to me.) Next I have to go to Honors History with the dreaded Dr. Schmid. All the students warn you about him and so do some other teachers. I tried to find it on my own but had to ask for help. The teacher wasn't sure but he gave me directions anyway. Guess what? They were wrong. I did make it there though. The teacher sucks. He gave us massive books the first day and made us get into alphabetical order without talking or writing. That's impossible since no one knows each other so I told everyone to use their book cards we had to fill out earlier. When we were done, he accused me of cheating and I said, 'hey, I didn't write anyrthing,. It was already written." and someone said "And you never said we COULDN;T cheat." and then I said, "Yeah, until I sign something, nothing's final" I don't think this pleased him but he can screw a monkey and go to hell. Okay next class. I was almost positive I knew where the spectra room was since It's near the cafeteria. Well, when I left history I realized I had no idea where I was so i asked a teacher and I found it okay. Spectra was nothing bad, nothing special. Next I had to go to Spanish 2. Not only was it hard to find, when I got there I had no desk. I shared a chair with a girl and waited for the teacher. Turns out, the teahcer quit a few days before. We had the ISAP teacher intead. Only me and this other girl remembered anything. He made us do a reviw the first day. In the middle of class a pass was brought up for me to go to the Guidance Office., I took it and left, thinking nothing of it. I realized I had no clue where Guidance was. When I found it the secretary litterally ignored me and after about 3 different people talking to me and 20-30 minues of waiting, my lunch bell rang and I was still there. When I finally actually got to see my guidance counelor, shw switches some classes around so I could hvae Honors science. I went to lunch with less than 10 minutes left. I found Christal easy enough but tge table was hoe train station. We're switching tomorrow. I went to honors science and I loved the teacher. He's hilarious. So that class was cool. When I went to find drama I didn't know ehere room 022 was so went up to a teacher and said, "Excuse me, but do you know ehere room 22 is?" and he goes, "We have a room 22?" Grr. He gave me directions and AI repeated them back and he said they were correct. Well, those crap directions led me down some hall without classrooms and ended with an emergency exit. When I finally found it with Rachel (girl I sorta know from old school) I didn't realize the door was open and how loud I was talking. You see, the drama room was the place I've gone to for the plays i've done so I was saying "OMG! I'm such an idiot! How many times have I been here?!? Loads!" and I walk in and i think the class had heard me. Well, I'll skip some events but I did meet this really cool senior/junior (i dunno which!) that sits diaganol from me at my table. We were the smartasses of the class. We made the Code Of Conduct halfway fun, In honors language it was cool. Nothing special. I nearly got on the wrong bus thanks to Christal who told me I was on hers (I was driven tot school in the morning so I didn't know) Luckily, Alicia told me my real bus. When I got home I told my mum my day was bad, Andie called and said hers was great. Andie was sweet and let me rant to her (inmore detail than this entry!" Until my mum made me get off the phone. I think my mum felt bad for me (LoL) She took me to the mall liek i asked her to a couple of days ago for a sale. I got 5 new shirts. Thanks mum! mac too since he 'paid' (his credit card lol) for 2 of them. I don't really wanna go tomorrow but who wants to go to school ever? Oh well, things will probably get better. I shouldn't complain like a baby but hey, venting helps :) *Always Lost*Bad Directions*and*Hoping*For*Better*Days* Rease Home Journal |
