My Poetry |
I am I am warm I am ice I am sugar with some spice I am a leaf lost in the wind I am a human who has sinned I am the grass you walk upon I am the girl who cries 'till dawn I am scared, but I am brave I am the deepest, darkest cave I am but a delicate flower I am sweet, yet I am sour I am a failure I am a suceeder I am shy but I am a leader I am a rock; hard and cold I am a precious piece of gold I am a breeze I am a tree Most importanly; I am me |
Dreaming Of A Light I wake up one morning But close my eyes again Yearning for the light That I know lives within Turning, thrashing, in my sleep In the distance is the light Traveling, moving further still Sailing faster as I fight Stunning swirl of colors To say the least; sublime Walking near it, slow and scared I'm running out of time Close enough to feel it's warmth The light, it is so near And as I reach out for it It turns into a mirror I stand there for a moment Amazed at what I see For there was an Angel Staring back at me She said she had been waiting I stood there quite intrigued Whatever could an Angel, Want with someone such as me? I'm certainly not perfect Infact, I'm no where near Maybe it it was someone else That should be standing here The glowing Angel read my mind Then drew a cross inside my palm The tingle blazed through my veins And somehow made me calm I knew it once it was her strength That pushed me to endeavor She said she was my Guardian Angel And in my heart she'd stay forever |
Winter Comes and Winter Goes I hear a soft crunch Underneath my shoe The crisp, white snow Has replaced the morning dew Harsh winds of bitter cold Wrap you in an icy hold A gentle breeze of winter air Softly moves through wisps of hair Beautiful stars of snow surround me Piles of them land around me They lie at my feet in a huddle Soon to be nothing but a puddle This is how the seasons flow Winter comes and winter goes |
Silent Bliss Starlight twinkle, little eyes Watching far above me Angels sitting in the sky Hearing silent pleas Butterflies that kiss my cheek And vanish before capture Dancing beams of sun-yet meek- Fill me with such rapture Meadows full of dainty flowers Warm me with their love Rainbows filled with silent powers Are smiles from above Suddenly, all the angels cry Their tears are known as rain Twirling, spinning, I wave goodbye As they wash away my pain |
The Canvas Sometimes I feel like canvas Upon which I myself can paint I paint on a look of love When I am filled with hate Sometimes it's hate for others Yet, usually for me I'm not just the hater I'm also the hatee Other times it's happiness I paint When my life is upside down And glee is a bit faint Sometimes I'll paint a frown So they all leave me alone To ponder about the world And it's mindless drones I am but a canvas In a gallery Hanging amongst others Yet lonely as can be A canvas filled with colors For all the world to see The colors on the canvas Come together to make me |
End the poetry madness and take me home |
In case you are someone who surfed onto my site, please don't take my poems and use them for a homework assignment or anything like that. I worked hard on these. Everyone can send me comments if you want to tell me they suck or they rock or whatever |
