- Marilyn Monroe 12% - "Some Like It Hot", "The Seven Year Itch", "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". JFK's now "not-so-secret" lover. An urban legend states that she was the daughter of comedienne Phyllis Diller!
- Charlie Chaplin 6% - Once lost a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest. His remains were stolen and held for ransom. Both are true.
- Jackie Gleason 0% - According to a biography written by his second wife, he took a trip with then-president Richard Nixon in 1973, to see the Roswell corpes, embalmed and displayed on operating tables.
- John Belushi 9% - "Saturday Night Live", "Animal House", "The Blues Brothers". Acording to a 1976 palm reading, "...it is interesting that the three main lines on Mr. Belushi's palms -- head, heart, and life -- are each cut very short."
- James Dean 3% - "East of Eden", "Rebel Without A Cause","Giant". An unsubstantiated story is that parts from his Porsche Spyder kept on were used on other cars, and that the drivers of all those cars also died in firey crashes! For the knife fight between Jim and Buzz (in "Rebel Without a Cause"), the actors used real switchblades and protected themselves by wearing chainmail under their vests.
- Bruce Lee 9% - "Fist of Fury", "The Chinese Connection", "Enter The Dragon". One persistent rumor is that he was killed by Ninja masters for revealing too many of their secrets. Bruce Lee won the 1953 Cha-Cha Champion in Hong Kong.
- Rock Hudson 0% - "Giant", "Pillow Talk", MacMillan & Wife". At one time, there was a rumour that rock had married Jim Nabors.
- John Wayne 0% - millions of Western & War movies. Real name: Marion (hee, hee). Two old stories had it that he was a WWII draft dodger, and that his autopsy revealed 40 pounds of impacted fecal matter lodged in his colon.
- Peter Sellers 12% - Pink Pather movies, "The Party", "Being There". Every contract that he ever signed included a clause which stipulated that his accomodation must have the bed facing East-West.
- Orson Welles 0% - Apparently, he & Peter Sellers hated each so much that during the filming of Casino Royale (1967), that the scene where both of them face each other across a gaming table actually took place on different days with a double standing in for one the actors. "War of the Worlds" at 23 yrs. "Rosebud" is an allusion to Randolph William Hurst's nickname for his girlfriend's naughty bits.
- Humphrey Bogart 0% - Contrary to a popular legend, he was not the model for the Gerber Baby, nor was the Gerber Baby drawn by Bogart's mother. There was also once a story that he & Ed Sullivan were brothers. Last words, "I should never have switched from Scotch to Martinis."
- Paul Lynde 6% - "Hollywood Squares", "I'll take Paul Lynde to block!". Out Magazine deemed him, "the gay icon who made the 'world a safer place for sissies'."
- Bela Lugosi 9% - "Dracula", "Plan 9 From Outer Space". When Bela died after shooting only a few scenes of "Plan 9 From Outer Space", director Ed Wood replaced him with another actor, who covered his face with his cape for every moment of the film. Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla (1952) was filmed in nine days on a budget of $50,000
- John Candy 32% - His characters on SCTV included: Johnny LaRue, Dr. Tongue, Big Jim McBob, Harry, The Guy With The Snake On His Face, Luciano Pavarotti, Gil Fisher, Fishin' Musician, Mayor Tommy Shanks, Mr. Mambo, Josh Shmenge, William B. Williams, The Jester from Mrs. Falbo's Tiny Town.
- Lucille Ball 3% - She calimed radio transmissions picked up by her fillings lead to the capture of a Japanese spy.
