Cyndi Wood first appeared in Playboy magazine, as a centrefold and Playmate of the month, in February 1973. Her photo was not submitted to Playboy by her, as she felt she was "too ordinary"! Instead, a friend of hers sent the photo in, and thus began Cyndi`s modelling career.
She was chosen as the Playmate of the year for 1973, an oustanding acheivement that brought fame, fortune, and a pink Mercedes 450 SL!!
Of course, television and film work followed, most notably in the war epic "Apocalypse Now", but more prominently in "Van Nuys Blvd."
But most will remember her for her Playboy modelling, appearing on the cover four times through the 1970`s.
