Always there
Silently I watch unknown to you.
Your frail beauty hides your strength.
So close I can reach out and touch you,
But vast distances come between us.
You are a thing of great legends,
Tall and small tales alike,
All to explain your existence.
Great mysteries you hold,
From all the way to the beginning,
And for until the end.
While nature often hides you form me,
You still comfort me when I'm lonely,
Making me remember good times with family and friends.
Silently you watch back over me,
And make sure I always find my way home.
