Personality: Altair is usually very friendly and calm. He is the voice of reason when it comes to him and his friends.
Past: Altair is from a planet known as Dimar. (also the name of his species) He and two of his human friends somehow ended up on Pern.
Dragon: Talking green Solath
Dimar traits: Dimars are essentially fur-bearing dragons. They have fur, mainly on the belly and chest, and down their backs. They have six digits on each hand, four fingers and two thumbs. Dimar have mastered the art of Telkai, genetic engineering, essentially. Using the Waters, they change pretty much anything about themselves, most often color.
