Rasilazh | |||||||||||||||||||||||
Darkling Dawn | |||||||||||||||||||||||
Personas | |||||||||||||||||||||||
Name: Rasilazh
Gender: Male Race: Merfolk Age: 17 Homelands: Southern Slithern Sea, Mythicalae Job: Warrior-in-training Other: Where is he now?: Darkling Dawn, awaiting the day he can return home. He's quite the pain in the rear, really; Rasi' is a natural warrior, born with the blood of fighters in his veins and driven on almost pure adrenaline. He's a daredevil, a risktaker, and more than that, he's curious about all kinds of things, particularly creatures of other worlds. Although in his late teens, Rasi' has developed the thick and bulky build of all those born in the warrior caste. Being as heavily muscular as he is, he's also adorned with a varying array of finny crests that have poisonous spines sticking out from them; these crests run down his head and back and stick out from the backs of his forearms. His lower body is that of a pufferfish, thickly designed with dangerous spines when he's inflated. His whole body is patterened in tiger-stripes of gold, brown, bronze, and subtle black markings. |

Hatchling Turquoiseth | |||||||||||||||||||||||
Weyrling Turquoiseth | |||||||||||||||||||||||
Name: Turquoiseth
Gender: Male Colour: Blue Age: Adult Size: Medium-Small Dam: Green-Blue Careth Sire: Andalusite-Celestial Krinoth Clutch: #6 Origin: Darkling Dawn Flights: Personality: His personality can be said to be unremarkable and fairly standard for a blue. Tur', however, does have a few unusual quirks; for example, he loves to swim. In fact, he prefers swimming over walking. Flight, however, is similar enough in motion that he surely would enjoy it as much as he did his aquatic exercises. He's also a bit obsessed with collecting seashells, a trait which is both quaint and produces much cluttering of the weyr. |

Search Story | |||||||||||||||||||||||
He'd gone from sea to land through no choice of his own; if his foe hadn't gone to land, he'd still be in the sea, running his trident through the guy's gut. But, he was on land, and the man was bolting across the sand with unnatural speed. Rasilazh followed, barely panting as he all but glided across the glistening shore.
What had transpired mattered little to the warrior; he was only aware of his pride being attacked, his strength being questioned, and he turned like a seasnake to lash back. Now, as the haze of his battle frenzy began to ebb, he began to really wonder if it was all worth it. No doubt it was ... but he felt the need to question what it really was about this man that drew him. Certainly the man was an odd-worlder and a land-dweller, at that. But he seemed to have something else, a more potent aura perhaps, and that seemed to pull hardest of all. In the distance, Rasi' heard the bellow of some great creature and then the sky seemed to be blotted out with the shadow of some great creature. Awestruck, the merman paused, gaping upwards at the cobalt-blue reptile, his face bathed in blue as light filtered through the animal's semi-translucent wingsails. Panting, the man turned and grinned. "You like him, fish-man?" Though his anger was renewed at the insult, Rasi' bit his lip and turned to regard the man. "He's interesting. What is he?" "A dragon. Kind of like your ancient Laviathan. But he can fly, unlike that sea dragon ancestor.", the man paused, brushing sand from his trousers. "How would you like to stand for a dragon of your own, boy?" His heart stopped, all anger bleeding from his body as excitement suddenly rushed in. "I ... I would be honoured, I would think. They are magnificent and to fly ... to escape the bonds of the sea ..." "I'll take that as a yes. Come with us, then. We'll set you up right nicely on Darkling Dawn, how's that?" "Good, very good.", Rasi' breathed and began the weirdest trip of his life ... |

These characters are originally Drakiera's, passed back to me once she decided to quit adopting. The story and stats above were written by her. |
