Welcome to my website!  My name is Mark Holt, and I was born on a planet far, far away, many millennia ago (actually, it was 1971 in a town called Immingham in the UK).

I haven't really moved far since my birth, in fact I'm still here in Immingham.  I'm single, like animals (except reptiles & insects/arachnids), and, according to the last test I did, have an IQ of 139 (3 up on the one I did previous to it).

I'm a creative and imaginative person with a keen interest in myths & legends.  My hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, watching TV, computing, and sleeping.  Some people may think I'm a bit of a sad case, and they're probably right, but so long as I'm happy, who cares?

Now down to my website.  As I said, I'm a creative and imaginative person, which is why much of my website is given over to my writings and drawings.  I like to write short fiction (horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and adventure), and poetry, and draw pictures of monsters, robots, spaceships, and anything else that takes my fancy.  Why not check out my Fiction & Poetry, and Artwork sections to see what I mean.

As well as my writing and drawing skills, I like to think of myself as being quite wise, which is why I have a section devoted to Wisdom & Theories.  Here you will find some of my philosophies and theories about various subjects, and I invite any visitors to offer there ideas too.

Lastly, there is my Myths & Legends section.  This section will be a database of characters, events, and places from mythologies from all over the world.  I have a wealth of information to put into the database, and it will probably take me a very long time to get around to it.
