Hanging in the sky
Falling from the earth
Disconnected from the earth
Parched while living in water
the sad irony of it all, really
Really sad
Really ironic
Of course belief in another story
Believing or not - believing in it or not.
Trying so hard to not try at all
Knowing full well you can't change what you've started
You can't stop your fate
Raging torrent, river
Catacombs, no, waterfalls
So, how do you reverse the flow
Of waterfalls?
When is enough enough?
Racing down the waterfall in your barrel
It's not enough
When are you going to get out?
Oh? you have?
Humph.  you have.
Drowning, drowning in you own destiny
Fate-Piranhas nipping at your feet
But the waves of time-water still pour
Drowning and yet thirsty for more
Trying to drink in your own destiny
Trying to change the taste
Trying to make the rushing water suit your taste
But your barrel's gone
There's nothing left
But to drown in your destiny.
