After school I continued to work at The Photo Shop for over two years. Here I had the oppurtunity to really apply some serious effort into my interest in photography. I now have studio capabilities and have had a chance to shoot weddings, graduation ceremonies, family/personal photos, and other events. I also was able to make huge investments in equipment through the sales of Northern Lights photos through the store. I haven't decided, however, if I want to put my portfolio on here because after turning my hobbie into a job, I lost the desire to continue photographing for hire. You know the saying, "Hobbies are only fun until they become a job!" Now, after a few months of relaxing I'm getting back into the swing of doing it casually again.

Also, as of July, 2002, I switched over to becoming a secretary at the local GM/Chevrolet dealership. I'm still there.

Life since High School has drastically changed for me! This is not only because I had spent most of my life in a learning institution to suddenly face the "real world", but I made a decision in Grade 12 that would drastically effect the course of my future and every choice I would make from that point on. I became a Christian! My life was suddenly based on doing what was better for the people around me rather than just myself. Okay- I'm not saying I'm an UBER-Saint, or anything, but priorities in life make a complete 180 degree turn. But, at the same time, I wasn't left alone to face the world with complete uncertainty. I had GOD! I had PURPOSE! I had a freedom and peace in my life that I had never had before.

Okay, okay, for those of you who don't believe in God, or do believe but haven't made that choice to pray to Him and tell Him you believe, this all sounds like stupidity. Well, answer me one thing: Do you believe in heaven? Better yet, do you believe in hell? You may not- that's up to you. But if you do, can you tell me that there is honestly any way that people can earn their way to heaven (and avoid an eternity of torment and pain). Is there anything we can do on earth that can justify our going to paradise and becoming an object of perfection, where we will never face saddness, never hurt, and never have a reason to cry again? There isn't. That's why Jesus came. He had never done anything in His life to hurt anyone or done anything wrong (whereas, EVERY ONE of us has!) And we hung Him on the cross (torturing Him)! He WAS the perfect sacrafice. He is the only way we can enter heaven....it's as simple as believing in Him and telling Him that. No matter what you've done wrong in your life, you can be forgiven. No matter where you are in life, He can help you.

This is the hugest and most important decision I've ever made, and I'll never regret it!
