* jenny twanging one of her kicking muscles and suspiciously omitting herself from the sprints finale,
*monique making a sparkling debut
* maggies' superb return to form after prolonged treatment for her substance addictions at re-hab in carmel.

it looks like we're on course to thrash these tokyo girls, make 'em cry and wish they'd taken up ikebana.
actually, jenny came close to crying today after having her shin booted twice in the same place, but our san diego hardcase did her best not to blub! [shinpads?]
other notable incidents included:
1 a rare appearance from the reluctant trainer, julie...welcome back bruiser.
2 my persistent mis pronunciation of taoes' name...if you're in doubt, it's tay-o.....not towie or toey as i was misinformed!!
3 maggie still didn't show [we're assuming you do your own personal training?!]
4 amanda didn't ask me if i'd seen "queer as folk"
