1 beating yamanashi 2-0 goals from ayumi and orla [booting it in from a fair distance first time after a bad kick out from their goalie]
2 amys' neat consolation goal against nagano after lovely work from orla on the right wing
3 ayumis' unbelievable fantasy football goal against toyama...running all the way from her own half to slot the ball coolly past the goalie, classy.
4 susans' fabulous free kick whistling into the top corner after taking a wicked deflection. this preceded a great goal by emma incorrectly disallowed by the referee.
5 emma scoring a superb solo effort after sprinting away and making up for an earlier miss with a clinical finish.
6 jamisen making a superb debut and making a name for herself as the team hardcase.[ you beeeeatch]
7 coach and subs doing a gene kelly raindance with umbrellas after 3 superb goals against toyama
8 clare h. in goal, wearing mums' oven gloves, looking increasingly confident in goal
9 feisty performances from new girl zoe and regulars, paula and clare roche
lowlights:
1 starting slowly in both the first games and playing panicky football and losing.
2 minor injuries to emma, amy, paula in the warm up before 1st game!
3 amy twisting ankle in heroic final game.
4 orla dropping her tracksuit pants and [black, frillly lacy] knickers accidentally in her rush to come on as sub.
5 orla again bringing the club into disrepute, showing her "persil white", but perfectly formed, recently waxed arse in team photo.
6 capt. susan mysteriously sleeping in on sunday and nobody waking her up.
7 coach pulling a calf muscle running for the train..
