PLOT: A fashion-loving band of sea pirates has their ship commandeered by a British captain. When one of the pirates is murdered, it's up to the entire crew to solve the crime. A murder mystery comedy.
HISTORY: With nearly the entire original cast available, and having already performed the show eight times in 2006, it made sense for Market Street Irregulars to offer "Pirates" as a show to different venues for one-off performances. This Corning Country Club performance would reunite us, nearly two years after their last performance.
The difference: Newer MSI member Oribes Reis would now be playing Steve (the role that I originated), and I would now be playing Master At Arms, which Greg would be unable to perform on this date. (The switch was a suggestion that I made, since the Steve character seemed quicker for a completely new cast member to learn, and because I was interested in doing a role that I hadn't played before.) Also, as with the Tag's performance, director Amanda would be taking Gary's place as the lovable hero Ears McDuffy (since Gary was busy doing three other shows that Fall).
