First DSF Post by Darkman Is there an afterlife? Last night, my lvl 32 mage was doing a solo-multiplayer Nightmare/Hell run over IPX network - no big deal. Well, I got down to lvl 16 and accidently walked into a room full of knights. To make matters worse, I then proceded to panic and retreat into the wrong direction . Finally remembering my Teleport spell, I then tried to Teleport my way out of trouble. But after several attempts, my mage still couldn't break the stunlock and the screen turned red. I wasted no time mourning over my death and quickly restarted in town. But much to my surprise, I still had all of my gold and all of the gear I was wearing =) Astonished, I checked to make sure I hadn't accidently started a new game and found that indeed this was the same game because Diablo was still on my quest list. I then healed myself, repaired my armor, and went on to beat Diablo. I asked myself if it was just pure chance that allowed me to die and restart without losing any of my items. I think it was more than that. Perhaps there is an afterlife - or another one of Blizzard's numerous bugs ;) "There is but one truth in our world... death shall conquer life." - somedude
