by Darkman Stats at the start of the game: Snap(DRAG-SNOB) -- mage class Level 30 Experience 15578180 Next Level 20066900 Strength 45/56 Magic 187/203 Dexterity 37/38 Vitality 41/42 Life 76 Mana 559 Armor Class 35 To Hit 94% Damage 14-17 Resist Magic 65% Resist Fire 65% Resist Lighning 45% Spells: Firebolt 15 Charged Bolt 12 Healing 15 Heal Other 13 Inferno 14 Telekinesis 4 Town Portal 8 Flash 10 Stone Curse 8 Fire Ball 9 (this was my first time to use this spell:) Guardian 2 (unable to use this spell from memory) :( Bone Spirit 3 Equiped Items: Thinking Cap (41/41) Wizard Spike (26/26) Holy Defender (106/106) Rainbow Cloak (17/17) Bleeder Items in pack: Falchion's Talon Mind Cry Rod of Onan On to the Game: Level 13: Lava Maws and Doom Guards. I SC'ed 60% of the monsters on this level since I didn't want to dull my sharp claws with an up close confrontation;) The stairs were somewhat elusive. I checked all the open areas for the stairs down and as luck would have it they were in the last quadrant I checked. However, in the process of searching, my golem-in-a-scroll ran into Rustweaver who dropped a pretty, little Royal Circlet:) 3/5 level were cleared. No close calls (doggies were very well behaved, one even gave me a prefect Ammy of Heavens for feeding him CB:) Level 14: Same exact layout as dlvl 13. I headed in the direction where the stairs should be according to layout and found them with ease. I have no idea what the monster mix was since my brief walk was uninterrupted. Nothing cleared. No close calls;) Level 15: Snow Witches and Cabalists. Great monster mix! Now I get to use my newest spell (Fball). Only drawback is the Cabalists are so dang loud :P I started out in a western alcove and moved my way towards the big North room only stopping to FB the weaklings who dared to get in my way:) I secured a path around Laz's chamber and darted in quickly to draw out Red Vex and her partner in crime. Hiding around the corner, I SC'ed and FB'ed them to death. Woo hoo! Black Jade dropped a shiney Scavenger's Carapace! Sweet. I made another quick dash into the room to lure out the two Hell Spawn. I SC'ed them as they came out to meet me and demolished them with a sea of CB. Then I SC'ed the remaining members of the room, blew Laz to ashes, and made a quick getaway before the Advocates knew what hit them (or didn't hit them in this case;). Pentagram down to Diablo was just over the wall south-east of Laz's room. With a scroll of Teleport bought from Adria, I quickly found myself on 16. ![]() On to 16! Up to town for now. Ring of Heavens (+15) from Laz. 1/5 Level Clear. No close calls. Level 16: Time to change gear. Rod of Onan and Scavenger's Carapace. I found myself on the west side of the level in between Diablo's lair and the two-lever room. I made my way over to the north-west room and TK'ed the switches meeting very little resistance. After packing and changing setups, back down to deal with Diablo. Wearing TC, Bleeder, SC, and Mind Cry, I lured out the Lord of Terror with CB and awaited his arrival against the wall of the two-lever room where I made a nice-sized Guardian garden for him to play in. But the smart little bugger brought a handful of knights with him to turn the tables. MS went down and I hit the floor. Back down the TP to try again. This time I was successful. One Advocate and a dozen knights slain. No drops.
