Kaare Name:
Kaare Brullins
Born:
1966
Instruments played:
Drums, bit bass, bit keyboard
Previous bands:
I am a great admire of Phil Collins' early work and also Bill Bruford's (outside Genesis). I started playing drums quite late (in 86 at the age of 20) with the legendary 'Anal Band'. In 88 and again from 94 to 96 i played in a blues-punk band called 'Scan Stars'. From 96 to 2000 I took a break until we started Das Tote Calzone in 2000. This is absolutly the best band I have been a part of, though we only play about 8 times a year!!!
Musical influences:
Growing up with The Sweet and still loving much of it (especially F.A., D.B. and Level Headed) Presented to Genesis in 74 by my big brother who bought The Lamb - I became a big fan immediately. Heard Epitaph on Danish radio during the same period and found out that Genesis wasn't the only band who played rock music with a slight classical influence. I don't like many of the new heavy prog bands but love fx. Spock's Beard. Zappa and the more jazzy music like Weather Report I like aswell
First record:
Sweet's Funny How....in 72
5 favourite albums of all time:
