Dhimitrix

Nightsister

In every era, in every planet, system, and galaxy, darkness exists to be wield by those who have dark souls. Fed on anger, fear, aggression, these souls are powerful enemies and feared for their potential. Having this darkness and the ability to call upon the mystical energies of the Force, makes these dark individuals even more foreboding.

Dark Force users are in many sects, using many different techniques on how they tap into the energies of the Force. Sith, Krath, Dark Jedi, and...Nightsisters.

Legend has it, that the reason techonology and space travel was denied the witches of Dathomir, was because the Emperor himself feared the power of the Nightsisters and didn't want their power to escape the confines of the planet. But, thanks to the ignorance of a small band from the Light side and New Republic forces, travel offplanet once again was made possible, giving that power a chance to finally escape.

Now the power of the Nightsisters is free...threading its inky darkness throughout the galaxy like icy tendrils of black silk. They take what they want, when they want, having no qualms whatsoever, as their power has given them a confidence and ability to dispatch those who try to oppose them.

Dhimitrix's story begins with her enlightenment of the power she can possess. Being a spellcaster with very limited power, she found that she would never become a War Chief of the clans as she wished to be. She would push herself and her abilities to great limits, making herself physically exhausted and more than a little angry at herself for failing her high expectations.
While exercising her abilities by climbing up the side of Singing Mountain--far from her home of the Purple Plains clan territory--she had cut herself on a sharp rock and, sensing her imminent failure, her inner rage at herself boiled at the lot she's been dealt by Allya's hand. Soon she found herself climbing the rest of the way, her hands and knees and feet clinging to the rock as though she were a bug clinging to the side of a building. Her rage turned to victory as she reached the top and she nearly fell before she was able to pull herself up, but that near death once again fueled her anger at herself and she accomplished the climb.
For several hours she meditated on this event, realising her anger augmented her powers. It gave her the strength to accomplish even her most over-inflated goals. As she thought about her plight and training, her anger soon turned from herself to her clan. They were all against her, because they knew that certain feelings would give her the power to become that which she longed to be the most--War Chief of the Clans.
On her return to her clan, she lashed out with her anger and killed off everyone in the area...her torments becoming the torments of those who kept her from becoming a great spellcaster. Soon, nothing was left living. Even the cattle and plant-life were victims to her outburst of new energy. Dhimitrix reached up to her face, feeling an unusual swelling there and wandered to a barrel of rainwater to look at her reflection, finding that her outburst had caused great purple veined welts to arise on her face and neck. Furious, she ran from the site of destruction...ran using her anger to give her strength to run till it was late at night.
She found a cave in some cliffs near where the former Imperial base was set up, and curled into a corner to fall into a deep sleep, one in which no dreams visited her. The next morning, she awoke to a poke in her ribs and looked up into the face of a witch with dark-as-night hair and light-as-the-sky eyes. She introduced herself as Renata Sabra and crouched down beside Dhimitrix.

"It was you I felt." Sabra gingerly touched the side of Dhimitrix's face where the great purple welt went from cheek to temple. "I searched all night for you. You have a great ability. Come with me and let me hone that ability."
Sabra helped her up and Dhimitrix trembled, for some odd reason frightened of this woman who claims she
felt her power all those kilometers away. "I-I...." Sabra shushed her.
"Don't be afraid. Your unleashed powers gave you great strength for a short time, but now you must come with me to rejuvenate."
With little resistance, Dhimitrix let Sabra take her on a creaky speeder back to the Nighsisters fortress...built on the other side of the cliffs Dhimitrix slept in, it had a clean creek running through a small break in the mountains, then widened out as it flowed into a valley, then shrunk again as it flowed out of the other side of the mountain. At the base of the mountains, standing in the valley were dozens of witches, all of which were Nightsisters with purple welts much like hers. Some hadn't welts, like Sabra, but still had a strength surrounding them. Some of them wore hooded cloaks, others warrior's garb of high collared tunics with colored scales, and a few had on soft hides and leather boots.
The mountain enclosure were peppered with caves, and the valley began filling with huts that the Nightsister's slaves were building. Suddenly, Dhimitrix got a sense of peace and home, feeling like she suddenly found home. She smiled at Sabra and soon began her training by her, not taking the lead others would have her follow.

As she lived with the Nightsisters, she saw and became a part of the Purge that Sabra encouraged amongst those that remained behind after Tamith Kai left with Brakkis. She was enlisted by many to find out the weak Nightsisters and destroy them so that the clan of Nighsisters will remain strong. On one occasion, she took care of that business on her own, especially when there was a tasty male that one of those weak Nightsisters managed to get. She killed the weak one and forced the male to make love to her.
Out of all of the Nightsisters, she and Sabra were the most feared, especially when Sabra called a circle and proclaimed herself their new leader and killed those who opposed her claim. The only reason why Dhimitrix didn't take that position, nor opposed it, was because Sabra stirred fear within herself. She somehow had this feeling that Sabra had a strong power that she used rarely, that could destroy them all if she'd like...much like what Dhimitrix did to her own clan. Though Dhimitrix had never witnesses Sabra showing such power, the fear she felt was enough for her to believe it was there.
When no more opposed Sabra, she quickly began putting the remaining Nightsisters into ranks beneath Dhimitrix, who was dubbed First Commander of the Nightsisters. Pleased that she finally received the position she wished to have, she took her job very seriously and trained the Nightsisters and the males in the arts of ambush and integrating both spells and physical strength to use in battle. Since the Purge was over and Dhimitrix wanted to focus on training the others, she went celibate, waiting for a male worthy of her attentions.

After serving Sabra and the Nightsisters diligently for so many years, assisting where needed, keeping the Nightsisters and newly acquired Imperial officers--that the New Empire so graciously gave them--ready for Sabra's next orders, a male worthy of her interest steps onto the scene. He was alien in appearance, but the dark power that surrounded him like an aura was both intriguing and tantalizing. His name: Mik'lacee Certufalian. His profession: Dark Lord of the Sith. He came to Dathomir to strike a deal with Sabra to work together to stop the peace talks between the New Empire and Republic. After a great many disagreements, they finally came to a deal where the Nightsisters would attain credits to purchase the services of mercenaries and pirates to pose as Imperials and attack Republic space. As a part of the agreement, Sabra gave a sign of trust in the Dark Lord by giving him the assistance of her best warrior, Dhimitrix. Dhimitrix was more than happy to oblige Sabra and now travels with the Dark Lord.
