The Tome of Obedience was made simply to create an order for the clan of Nightsisters to live by. Sabra saw much chaos in the events that followed Tamith Kai's departure from Dathomir and created the Tome of Obedience to prevent those events from re-occurring. Any disobedience to these Laws will result in the unlawful being punished severly by Renata Sabra's own hand.

The tome itself was made from the skin of a Nightsister that Sabra killed when the Nightsister challenged Sabra's right to claim leadership of the clan. The words--written in Dathomirian--were written in Sabra's own blood and chanted over to keep the tome sacred and binding.

1. There will be no unauthorized killing. The right to kill a witch of Dathomir or another Nightsister comes directly from the leader. Unauthorized killings is punishable by death.

2. All mates/slaves are to be shared equally with the exception of the leader's mate.

3. Upon the death of the leader, all rights of her rank, her mates, and slaves go to her chosen First in Command.

4. All greivances against another Nightsister are to be brought to the leader's attention for her judgement.

5. Only the leader can call a Circle of Nightsisters, when issues concerning the clan are discussed and voted upon.

6. All hunting, scouting, and foraging parties are to report all of their findings to the First in Command. Failure to do so will be punished severely, depending on the extent of the hoarded findings. Findings can and will be rationed throughout the clan in time of need. Rations will be determined by the First in Command.


All Laws can and will be forfeit to the leader when she feels it is necessary, such as desparate times for a dying clan. Laws are also subject to change when events occur that the current Laws have no ruling on and it appears to be necessary.
