| Wiper "mist" idea: Okay, this is really simple, but I haven't seen anyone do it. All you have to do is solder some wires to the original wiper switch, and connect them to a push button. After picking a mounting spot, you install the button, and simply push it. The wiper goes one time, and then stops, or you can hold the button down, and the wiper will go as long as you hold it. Not exactly rocket science, but I will be hooking this up in my car soon. Also, I will be doing the same for the window sprayer as well, mainly because the stock switch is a little unreliable. 8/8/01: Well, it works. It is not very pretty , but the buttons work. If only I could figure out a way to mount smaller buttons on the steering wheel... |
